“Had a wonderful lunch at Sophie’s Choice celebrating my 70th Birthday. The food was delicious and plenty of it as usual with a wide choice. All my guests were very impressed. The staff and service were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this gem of a restaurant”

“Best Indian I’ve ever had. No doubt. Very friendly staff and excellent service. They have at least 8 chefs in the kitchen and 6-7 staff waiting tables, so it’s very well run restaurant. I’ll definitely be coming again. Delicious - Balti Jalfreezi, Lamb Kattamita, Lamb Roygan Josh, Onion Bhaji. Some minor adjustments/personal criticisms - Bombay potatoes could do with some more spice and flavour, more coconut with the pashwaari naan, more attention given to size of onions in the balti and the freshness of those onions (some had hard texture)”

“Good local club which I always had reservations about asking to join as I heard it was members only & was not sure how stuffy it might be. Now a 3 year member, absolutely love the kids clubs & New Years Eve is always a blast! Family's need to join as this is a little treasure in our community & you can help us revive this gem, come in & see for yourself. It's about family & friends with lots of tribute bands & annual events not to be missed!”

“Great tasty food with a warming ambience. African food isnt always cooked well but I applaud the kitchen staff because I truely enjoyed the food. The only down side was that there were no cocktails of my choice but apart from that everyhing else was great. The DJ had me moving and the staff were very much welcoming. I would definitley be going back!”

“Great classic Chinese takeaway-a little family run gem in Sidcup. We’ve been coming here for years and the food quality is consistently good and amazing value. Excellent Chinese style curry and Singaporean Rice vermicelli our favourites. Pancake rolls are hand-made which means we’ll happily wait for delivery but if busy go and collect!”

“I have tried quite a few different Chinese takeaways but this is the best one I have ever had in my life. My go to order is chicken chow mein, chips and curry sauce. It is amazing. I don’t know how the fen make their chips so perfect but they really do! I cannot recommend this place enough!!!”

“Superb curtious service , compared to others this place is the best by a long long way. Happy days a decent take away local to me. Second visit: XL pizza pepperoni plus. A massive meal for 2 people! I walked in ordered waited less than fifteen minutes. Home with piping hot pizza within 20 minutes. Was it as good ? Same pizza - same waitress- same chef - Same Perfection - For under £10 - Total no brainer x Superb and thank you.”

Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! (Credit to your cleaner! ) Good place to visit. Good breakfasts too, enjoyed.”

“Always a nice experience staying here; the reception staff were very polite, attentive and professional. Rooms were in clean condition and had everything you needed. There was the option to have breakfast which I didn’t opt in for; the paid Wi-Fi was brilliant as well, overall would recommend this hotel as you’re definitely getting value for money.”
