“This place has it all! Just listen to the sound of my posted videos :) The best flavour for Chinese food. Once a week they visit our campus at Reading Uni and serve us traditional, delicious dishes. It works like a lifesaver at uni to have such a special restaurant serving at hour place. I usually go with porkbelly or beef with noodles. The meat is always soft and incredibly good spiced. The noodles absorb the sauce perfectly. I add spicy and sesame sauce along with cilantro and crushed peanuts as a topping. Definitely a must go if you are on Thursdays at Reading Uni or Wokingham.”

“The owner was so helpful and accomodating. Nothing was a problem and I really enjoyed staying in the guesthouse. The buffet was so fresh and tasty, one of the best I have eaten. Highly recommended.”

“Cannot fault this place, booked as it’s a dog friendly hotel. The rooms are very well presented and immaculately clean. The food was top notch and loads of good beers and real ales on offer and I have to say, the garden area is epic! All staff were extremely friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! Don’t think just book it!!!!!”

“Stayed 1 night at the Travelodge Chertsey. Warm welcome from Allwyn who let me know about the hotel's facilities and local amenities. Room was comfortable with everything you needed for a short stay. Have booked again for another night in February.”

“Eat here often, walking distance. Phil and his staff are always lovely. On this occasion we were celebrating my son's 30th birthday, and we were able to use the marquee and not disturb the rest of the pub. Food amazing as always.”

“By far the best Pizza Express within the local area. Very spacious restaurant meaning no stress if you have kids/pushchair with you. Food always exceptional and staff very friendly. Will continue to visit this restaurant over the branches in Weybridge, Walton etc.”

“Me and my friend (pictured) drove here and were able to park conveniently right in front of the pub! The staff were extremely friendly, one of them even laughed at my jokes which is a rarity. The Guinness was superb and this can be telling of the establishment as a whole. They also offered us a rewards card on arrival which gifted a free pint for every six purchased - very handy if you're going as a large group! The Heineken silver wasn't for us but you can't please everyone in this day and age. Will definitely be back here in the near future.”

“After seeing some bad reviews here I thought I'd write an honest review. I have ordered fish and chips from harrys chertsey pretty much every week. I have never. I repeat never had any problem with my order. Chips always cooked well not greasy and soggy like suggested in other reviews. Again the fish batter always light and fluffy and cooked properly. As I say I order from them weekly not once had a problem. Also will add the delivery is quick and hot on arrival Don't let the reviews with clear lies put you off, this fish and chip shop is good try a order and judge yourself, you will not regret it if you want fish and chips.”

“I’ve been visiting this chicken shop since 2015 when I lived and worked nearby. It is soo much nicer tasting than KFC. As I’m not that local anymore it’s hard but I do swing by occasionally for chicken fillets…. So tasty! Cash only but there is a cash machine at the bottom of the shop next door.”

“Loved my first Taco Bell. Wasn't sure what to expect but the fries were unique and the crispy chicken wrap was also very nice and the price was better than KFC or McDonalds so I will be back.”

Last 16 years I live in Thailand so I was so looking fore ward to a good curry when I got to England.I had to wait 2 years to be able to travel back to Woking. I'm so happy red Fort has survived the carnage of covid. Any how my sit in main meal was great very nice flavours and armours with excelent side dishes and all served in a good time. “I would recommend The Winning Post- good food, free large car park and spacious venue. We were a table of 4 and went to eat. I have to say that they’re sharing nachos are some of the nicest I have tasted- the freshly made tortilla chips are really nice. It would be nicer to have some more guacamole but I often think this with nachos- this is my preferred dip. The menu has a number of vegan options which is not always common and the allergen menu online is really useful. The service was good- any minor issue resolved without delay. Staff were welcoming. Overall I would recommend and plan to return.”
