“Had a great experience at Apna Des. It was late night and they were about to close but they were kind enough to serve as as their last customers for the day. Ordered Chicken Karahi and chicken biryani and got the suggestion for Garlic naan which was really amazing. Both of the main courses were lovely, loved the quantity too. Staff was really helpful specially Annie, kudos to her. Overall: 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“Went to this amazing restaurant in the neighbourhood. I always prefer to eat meat but this time this vegetarian restaurant served the purpose very well. I ordered Aloo Piyaz thali with sweet lassi and everything was on point. The kind lady from staff was very helpful. Ambience was great with good choice of punjabi music. Overall a very pleasant experience. 9/10 Definitely going back very soon”

“Travelled from South London as there isn’t any Halal Chinese eat in spots. Overall great food and wasn’t not disappointed, loved that it was nothing fancy. Food was quick and fresh. Menu is halal and has many options.”

“Went for late breakfast just now and had a Set 2. Food was cooked, to my opinion, perfectly. Egg, Bacon, Sausage, Mushrooms, Chips, Beans, 2 toast and a mug of tea for £7.50. In today's climate that is well priced and considering it is a High St location I think great value for money. Parking on the road outside too. They have 5 stars scores on the door rating which made me want to try it. Under new owners from when I went years ago and they know what they're doing. Will definitely go again.”

“Took my friend here first time..service was great and on point.we orderd aubergine and potato meze which was served with salad and toasted bread the cold meze was mind blowing we could taste each and every flavour. For the mains we had grilled ribbs.and salmon with chips and salad.the salmon was well done it was perfect.price wise this place is same as all turkish places. Will recommend sultans.”

“First time for me..went to the one in gants hill.we were seated very quickly as we didn't book.service was fast and prompt. Food was served hot.we had sauté chicken which came in a thick gravey and stake chips. The gravey was very salty .our starts were mind blowing cod bites..I could taste the coating on the fish it was so tasty never had anything like it.would recommend this place for family and friends.prices are reasonable.”

“Had great service here. For a Turkish spot with great competition within 1 mile, the food is prices extremely decent! So many complimentary goods including salads, sauces, breads, turkish tea etc. We did not get turkish tea but we know that would have been amazing just like the rest! First time trying a cheesy hummus, absolutely amazing! Very unique flavour and very filling. Beead was freshly served and steamed up. Salad was to die for. I feel like some turkish places can get salad wrong even though it is very simple. The rice and bulgar (you can do half and half) was sooo moist and buttery! The donner itself was pretty standard. However the lamacun was the cherry on top. Service was A1++++++++. They were very attentive. Super fast and thats why we tipped voluntarily. Thank you guys.”

“Lovely little restaurant, great food, attentive service. The owner is extremely helpful if you're not sure what to order, and the prices are very reasonable. My second visit and there will certainly be many more. I’ve been looking for a nice Indian restaurant for a takeaway for a while, this is by far the best. The food is amazing, and the owner of the restaurant is very welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant! My new favourite”

“Beautiful decor, friendly service, I tried the empire burger just so I could taste the doner too! The meat was lovely and lean, family enjoyed the doner also tried cheese burgers which were very similar to McDonald’s taste! Staff explained the history of the Ottoman Empire which was very interesting. I pray for their success and recommend you try their doner the taste was amazing!”

“After our induction day today, we decided to go to this place, instead of ordering food. It was a nice experience in a nice atmosphere. The staffs were kind and they helped us to find the right meals providing options. Liked their mini libraries in the boxes. They have nice pictures on their walls. My meal was well presented (… as you can see in one of my pictures.) … and I found out, they have gardens for smokers and non smokers too.”
