“It started a little hectic as one of our tables was cancelled as they thought it was a duplicate booking… considering we walked in at a very busy time (14 of us), with a little hiccup, we had a lovely warm welcome… lovely family atmosphere… served warm bread and dips whilst waiting for starters… main course was timed perfectly. Could not fault the staff, service or the food. Kings Arms is back on the map, well done, we’ll see you again soon..”

“We stayed in room 101 it was really clean (100x cleaner than most fancy London hotels), the staff we encountered were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was cooked fresh for us & tasted great. It’s clearly an older hotel but has been well modernised in the areas that count. For a pleasant comfortable nights sleep I’d recommend.”

“My little boy has been going to riverside little explorers kindergarten since September 2016. I can't recommend this place highly enough. He has really enjoyed every single day there and has grown into a confident and happy chap who is now excited and ready to start school. The staff are so friendly and supportive, I feel so lucky that my son was able to attend such a fantastic nursery. I never once worried about leaving him in their care, all of the staff are so kind and caring and they really go above and beyond to make sure that the children feel settled and happy. Its been so nice hearing all about the friends he's made and the activities he's enjoyed doing. Such a brilliant place!”

“Our family's favourite Kebab shop!! chilli sauce is just the best ever! .... Such a polite lady who answers the phone & prepares all the telephone orders.... Meals have always been correct, unlike other kebab houses when the staff don't understand your order, so you know your not going to get what you've actually ordered or something will be wrong.... Not here, we would not go anywhere else now! X”

“Excellent facilities for the price. I have paid a lot more for a lot less in other guests houses. Good t.v. good shower comfortable bed; 500ml of fresh milk given on arrival and a decent size fridge to keep it in and a selection of breakfast cereals in the room. Wouldn't hesitate to use again.”

“Four of us had a meal last night. We had a lovely welcome with our three dogs. The seating was extremely comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Everyone of our meals was excellent from the sirloin steak to the vegetarian pie. The barman and young man waiting on the tables were very friendly. “This place was something else from the moment I walked in to the moment I left I was absolutely taken back with the service, food, mood and atmosphere. Bobby Jay served me and was amazing with the service throughout which always makes the extra difference and that little bit special too. All staff were very friendly and smiling. The place seemed busy and customers seemed pleased too. Has to be the best mac and cheese I have ever had and I'm a big fan, cheesy chips were very delicious and to top it off the churros kit kat were spot on.
