The Sushi Co - Woodford Green
● Closed“If you're a sushi lover, this restaurant is a must-visit. The variety of sushi rolls is impressive, with unique combinations that you won't find at other sushi places. The presentation of the dishes is beautiful and the taste is even better. The service is impeccable, and the waitstaff are always willing to offer recommendations. Don't miss out on the hot section in menu - the BAO BUN is to die for!”

Sushi Park
● Closed“Honestly would give more stars if I could. Placed my order for the first time here because of a promotion on Deliveroo and never ordered sushi from anyone else. The sushi is always so fresh and well made, and the menu is creative as well. The last time I ordered was a couple of days ago and man I wish I’d taken pictures because the time and attention to garnish was amazing. The sushi was seasoned to perfection too. They really outdid themselves. I also went to pick up an order once with my partner and the staff is super nice. On Deliveroo they handle their own delivery and the drivers always greet you with a smile and are very polite. Best sushi in the area in my opinion!”

Alforno Caffe
● Open“Coffee tastes amazing, they sale their own house blend coffee beans for those who likes to make it themselves at home, I was surprised with the price for a whole kilogram, literally 20 or 30% less than big chains. I loved the atmosphere as well as the manager/owner was very kind person. Highly recommended place for breakfast and lunch.”

Tony & Maria's
● Open“A really nice combination of a Café and Restaurant. The food is excellent. I had the Penne with Spicy meatballs and it was very tasty and well presented. I understand this place is under threat of closure . I think people should work hard to protect this kind of establishment, so much better in quality and taste than the chain fast food places.”

Thai Town
● Closed“Had lunch using their lunch deal. The food was very tasty, freshly cooked and with good ingredients. We tried noodles only and thought their spice level and cooking was super! Main course portions were very good. They made my pad si ew spicier for me, which I really enjoyed. Note: The soup picture was taken after I had eaten some, hence not the best picture sorry. UPDATE: their panang curry is delicious and freshly cooked for you, as you can tell by the lovely crunchy textures of its vegetables. Good thickness and level of spices, so aromatic!!! After years eating their food they're still top of the list in the area for us :D”

Tamta House
● Closed“This is a true north London hidden gem. 2 mins away from the Golders green station. Excellent food and service. It felt like a posh restaurant. We are from the sub continent and I can confirm this is authentic food done right. The chicken was nice and succulent and the gravy was rich. The naan was fresh and the rice was perfectly cooked. We will definitely be coming back. The chef came out to ask what level of spices we expect. Needless to say he sounded very well trained and in our conversations we discovered that he has worked at multiple Michelin star restaurants. I could feel his experience in the ingredients used and the presentation with fresh butter melting. Definitely check it out for yourself !”

Vijay
● Closed“You’re in for a surprise! Not much to look at from the outside but you do walk into a very Kerala household decor - soft lights, woodwork and a very chilled out ambience. The food was brilliant- we ordered the beef and two types of fish curries with Kerala parottas (bread) and some steamed rice. Spiced well - not “burn your mouth off hot”. Staff are lovely - had a nice chat with us and made sure the service was top notch. Value for money but mainly a great meal served up by some great people! P.S. - too hungry to take food pictures :(”

Hidden Coffee
● Open“When I moved to London in September, I knew I would have to find "my shop" here. & Hidden Coffee has met + exceeded every expectation I've had! The coffee is excellent, milk texture/temperature is always perfect, and they have a knack for hiring the coolest and sweetest staff. Also, they're insanely fast for specialty coffee (you do have time before your train)! I go in almost every day, & couldn't recommend this shop or team more highly.”

Café 108
● Open“I love this place! It's one of the local cafes in my area and its been a staple for a quick breakfast or lunch run while working from home. My family and I occasionally go and have Sunday brunch as well. The staff are always friendly and the clientele is varied to say the least (keep fit groups, cyclists builders and families) but the cafe is doing something right as everyone keeps coming back! Great portion sizes and a varied menu means all tastes are catered for. The only thing I would advise is getting there at a good time as it can get really busy and you may have to wait a while to get a seat inside the main area (they do have additional seating at the back of the restaurant with patio heaters if it gets a bit chilly).”

Pizza Project Merstham
● Closed“Best place for pizza....ever? Easily my first option for pizza if I fancy a takeout. Great options, very reasonable, super friendly people. Why anyone would choose the mainstream pizza outlets over this is beyond me.”
-
Tokyo Pizza
● Closed47 Maida Vale, London W9 1SD, United Kingdom“Delicious Asian fusion pizza! Really good balance of flavours and ingredients so it's not too overloaded with fighting flavours. The crust on the pizza's are great too. Highly recommend the Salami and the beef short-rib pizza's, both really moorish and the beef is juicy and tender. The short rib croquettes starter is another winner to try, maybe not with a short rib pizza as it can get a bit too meat heavy which we found out. A really nice restaurant in the heart of Maida Vale, if you're into your Japanese culture then you'll love the dark decor and the more secluded tables. Staff were lovely, friendly and efficient. Prices are good, slightly cheaper than central London prices pizza but the dishes with the more luxury meat will cost you a bit more. Didn't try dessert as the pizzas are very filling, but will definitely come back to try!”
