“Vesuvio's did not disappoint us for our Valentines meal. Great portion sizes and excellent friendly service with a smile. I had the bruschetta to start which was so good, the balance of the garlic and dressing with the sharpness of the tomatoes was perfect. For mains I wanted the seafood risotto which wasn't on the special valentines menu but they were so accommodating and said they would give me it anyway and it was delicious. Perfectly cooked and perfectly emulsified making it decadent and creamy also very generous with the seafood. For dessert I had Tiramisu, again proper nice and creamy. Lovely soft biscuits soaked in coffee that tasted so clean, cold and fresh. We will be coming back 100% Keep it up Vesuvio's you're doing such a good job at creating an amazing, relaxing atmosphere.”

“This is hands down the best coffee shop in town. The coffee is always fresh and expertly brewed, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. They have a great selection of pastries, sandwiches and other food, so it is perfect for breakfast, lunch or just a quick snack. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and it is the perfect spot for a meeting, a date or just to sit and read a book. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great cup of coffee and a great experience."”

Really I have zero comment in all three dishes. I tried the rice balls, the lamb chops and the cauliflower steak. A can easily say that I will come back again here. “This was our first visit as we were just visiting the area for a few days. It was absolutely fantastic. The ambience of the place is amazing and the food is so delicious, fresh and authentically Lebanese/Arabic. The portions were very generous and we just could not stop eating. The bread was freshly baked and so tasty. Amazing service from the lovely staff Levi and Ali who were very welcoming and professional. A very special thanks to the chef, Hani. We wanted a couple of things changed on the dishes we had ordered and we did not mention this before until we were served with our food. However, the chef gladly accommodated this and brought back our dishes exactly like we wanted and with a smile. Couldn't have had a better meal. He even made a special dessert for us which was just so tasty and mouth watering that we ordered another portion to take away with us. Please make sure you add this to your menu? Highly recommend.”

“After we placed an order with uber eats the driver went someplace else, called to deliver and had a massive argument before her left my order on the pavement and carried on with his schedule!!!!! Shortly after I notified the restaurant they were so professional and kind to have my order replaced. Such heartwarming service and the quality of the food cannot be compared to any other Greek food pitta yeeros restaurants in London! I totally recommend this place for the quality of food and service the people provide. If I could give 10 stars I would!”

I have had many items on this menu but the best I have had so far by a mile is 100% the freshly made pizza! These are made on site from the pastry to going into the pizza oven! “Belated Christmas treat from the two friends who accompanied my wife and I yesterday. All blown away by the whole experience. Fine dining at its best, impeccable service and plush setting. We had the Sunday roast - one of the best ever. Starters, desserts and mocktails were superb too. Now highly recommending to everybody we know. In particular would like to wish our server, Haych, all our very best for the future. A most attentive, informative and friendly guy. Hope he manages to gain his City & Guilds certificates to pursue a career in hospitality when he is released. Confident he will.”

“Very good Ethiopian at a very reasonable price. It's £32 for the sharing multi platter for 2 very hungry, or 3 sort of hungry people. The Ethiopian honey wine is definitely worth a try, it tastes a bit like sweet apricot juice, quite nice, £5 for a large glass. It's on the way from Highbury & Islington to Emirates, went there before a cup match midweek and couldn't believe how empty it was. This place is a little gem. If you've never tried Ethiopian, it's a bit like Indian, but it's all plopped in little piles on a big plate in the middle to share.”

“Decided to walk in to this place on a Wednesday night without a reservation but we weren't turned away. The friendly man managed to find us the perfect table until our food arrived. The food was incredible. Fresh and flavorsome. Will definitely be a regular here from now on! The service, atmosphere and food was top notch!”

“We ordered the chicken curry with rice and the chicken biryani. Both tasted great and the spice level was just right (and is customizable on request). The biryani also came with two sauces for balance. The prices are very reasonable and I would definitely order them again! The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome even though it was our first time. There were many regulars there too. For a cafe, the food took quite some time to arrive after ordering but this is forgivable given the final quality - I would not want them to rush if it meant sacrificing the taste.”

“Amazing restaurant & a very high standard of food quality. I went with a friend and was met with lovely staff who make you feel very welcome and very attentive where needed. My family are from Corfu, Greece and I spent a lot of time there. The authentic flavours reminded me of being back! Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean (covid friendly). Plenty of Mediterranean food choices along with lovely wine & cocktails. We had complimentary pitta bread & tzatziki, grilled prawns with garlic, whole sea-bass and fillet of sea-bass! All absolutely delicious, highly recommend. One of the best restaurants in Orpington x”

Our original Caterers for our wedding cancelled with 3 weeks to go for our wedding and Inder and his team at Apna Punjab provided us a tasting session and a competitive price and provided some of the best food I’ve eaten and especially so fresh for my wedding in cornwall, Wadebridge. They travelled over 200 miles and cooked all the food fresh at the venue. The service was efficient and very high praise from all the guests at the wedding. Thank you so much Inder and your team!”

“Me and my brother stayed for 5 nights in March 2023. The room was very nice and clean. It´s 10 min walk to Wimbledon station and 15-20 min walk to Plough Lane ( AFC Wimbledon stadium ). Teresa and David are very nice and helpful. We had very interesting conversations during breakfast. I highly recommend this B&B and we will try to come back as soon as possibly to watch AFC Wimbledon and meet Teresa and David”

“I've never tried Iraqi food before but Ya Hela has introduced me to how wonderful it is. I say wonderful because it was a true meat feast! Their most popular item, the lamb kofte kebab had a lovely outer crust yet absolutely broke apart when trying to pick it up. I finally found something more sensitive than vegans. This alone was great however they have speciality lamb dishes with 3x more meat. Now we talking. Lamb shank - Pure, served with rice, no sauces or spices as such. Just tender, beautiful meat falling off the bone and you'd never complain for wanting more even though it's hella simple. Lamb neck - now this I could relate to a desi dish because it was another massive chunk of lamb but sat on top of a bed of broken up naan which has soaked up spices. Wow, this was almost like when I have Nihari, naan soaked up except this meat is on another level! Arabic Shwarma was pretty good though just needed more sauce inside but they have sauces provided anyway so that was fine. The chicken wings were a little dry for my liking. Service and atmosphere were fantastic, it was pretty busy and loved seeing massive pieces of lamb being eaten up. Very much liked this spot guys, try those lamb dishes and kebabs and you will not be disappointed! Taste: 9, Quality: 9, Value: 9”

“Great little Turkish discovery in the area. Run and managed by the owners, this restaurant offers up a range of culinary Turkish treats cooked perfectly. Service is excellent and highly commended. Parking is a little challenging in the area but it is well worth the trouble. Highly recommend if you're in the area.”
