The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! “I was a little worried after reading previous reviews, but I needn't have been! Short walk from the station, greeted very warmly by Alizay who was an absolute joy. Given a choice of floors, so opted for 6 as figured it would be quiet. This is the business floor... Room was spotless, even a bit of a view from the window. No issues with getting in late after a gig, key card worked fine. I felt safe as a woman on my own. Comfy bed, great shower, and no rush to check out the next morning. Another lovely gent on reception. Would definitely stay again, easy quick walk to go look at some of the sights. Really can't find fault for the price.”

“I stayed at short notice due to horrible plumbing issues at home meaning I couldn’t stay in my flat that night. I was feeling very upset and let down by the managing agent of the building I live in as they had not been very helpful. Then I was checked in by Irena. She was so kind, helpful and caring and really made me feel better and start to smile when all of wanted to do was cry or scream till then. The room was decent and the facilities were as expected.”

“I am probably the fussiest person when it comes to hair but both Clare and Kelly are excellent. They are great with my young children and so I decided to let Clare loose on my hair. Wow is all I can say. She gave me possibly the best haircut of my life at a fraction of the price you pay in a London salon. I am so happy!”

“The team is amazing. You can confidently walk in and get your haircut from any of the barbers and they all do an amazing job. I can personally guarantee you are getting good value for your money. Not only their cuts are phenomenol, they have a great atmosphere in the shop and really friendly staff. You can tell you are at a premium place with the high quality products they use.”

“Great barbers. Usually 5 chairs on the go at anytime so despite being constantly busy the waiting time is short. These guys know their job really well. I usually go for haircut and beard trim. I usually have my ears and nostrils waxed for £33. Bargain. This includes Turkish towel and any product for your hair. Highly recommended.”

When I walked in I was surprised when Gina mentioned cutting my hair from dry without me saying anything to her as not many hairdressers offer to do this. “Been getting dead (bad - for those who don't get it) trims? Yeah, that's cause you haven't been coming to Ismail's. Na, all jokes aside, best barbershop in the borough of Kingston . Super friendly and welcoming staff. All the barbers know what they're doing and make sure they understand what kinda trim you want. Clean and calm environment. Prices are also very reasonable, have paid more for less elsewhere. Make sure you come early, as there can be a little wait on busier days, justified for the outcome though. Cannot recommend any more - Cheat on your barber, come to Ismail's!”

“A excellent range of real ales and ciders . A large interior with a bar in the middle. Snooker table and board games available. A exchange book service too. Also does pizzas to eat in with which where very nice as we tried three out of the four on offer Light music on throughout the pub and TV Screens showing sport but they will switch off if annoying. Well worth going to.”

“I booked a table for Sunday lunch at short notice yesterday afternoon, following a shopping trip to Kingston. All the staff were very friendly and the roast beef lunch was delicious. It was so refreshing to go to a place where you are looked after properly and the food is of a high standard. You can just tell The White Hart is managed properly, will definitely return soon. “A lovely grand historical venue with amazing picturesque gardens. We attended a shared Xmas party as two couples joined by 3 other companies having their Xmas party. The staff were amazing and attentive, the food was great and the atmosphere and entertainment was great. Everyone had a wonderful time and I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to share a party and make some new friends. We didn't stay over so can't comment on the rooms. A special mention to Grant Chatfield, events manager who was extremely helpful and accommodating when we were booking and also gave as a lovely welcome on arrival.”

“I was walking around Kingston town centre one morning to spare time before going to uni. I saw Marielle’s hair salon and looked at the prices and thought the services were affordable. She gives 20% off to NHS staff and students. That’s when I decided to come in. Marielle, the hair dresser, welcomed me in a friendly manner. I usually put off going to the hairdressers because in the past I felt like the hairdressers I’ve seen before are judgemental about me and my hair. However Marielle was very kind. I initially asked for 1-2 inches of my ends to be cut off. Marielle cut my hair and added layers to my hair. She also blow dried my hair. The total came to £21! When I went to uni all my friends complimented me. Very affordable if you’re a student or want to save money. I would recommend coming here if you’re in Kingston and are on a budget.”

“came to this B&B the lady is so lovely, really welcoming and so friendly, easy to talk to and socaily great. Walked into the room and my first thoughts were WOW! Big sized room really homly comfy beds unbeilable clean lots of storage great sized TV. Bath room is really big with nice shower and bath also very clean. Could not dought this B&B atall! I have worked As a housekeeper in big hotels so know cleanliness and friendless very well. This B&B is great with all of those things. Would tell anyone to come here instead amazingly good and reasonably priced. Also unreal quick wifi!!! Amazing stay best night sleep every”
