At the first look Coal House seems to be a barber shop, but I was very pleased to find out that they offer services for ladies as well. If you are looking for a fancy saloon, than this is not for you, but if you are looking for professionalism, attention to details and a great hairstyle, then I highly recommend it. Thank you Katie. “Have seen many different, Physios, Osteopaths and Chiropractors over the years and always felt like, although my symptoms were being treated they never helped me understand the cause if the issue. Sam not only treats the injury, he gets right to the cause of it and then gives you the tools to manage and correct it going forward. I had immediate improvements after my first treatment which enabled me to get back to training. A few suggested tweaks from Sam and anther appointment and I'm back to 100%. Can't recommend the clinic highly enough. There is no up selling or push for further unnecessary appointments, like I've experienced previously with some other clinics. I'm currently booked back in in 6 months for a maintenance appointment.”

“Was looking for a local cafe for a vegetarian breakfast with good reviews, we were originally going to another cafe but luckily we decided to try this little gem! We were warmly greeted and seated quickly (given we are in the midst of COVID19). We were given paper menus and all the tables were socially distance well with a track and trace QR code on the door too. It was really well protected and safe for the patrons of the cafe. Our order was taken and we were served an amazing fresh breakfast with a tea each, for me it was a perfect portion (not too much and not too little) and filled me up. Refills were free which was great value given that they came free with our breakfast. The food is fresh and tasty and I highly recommend the vegetarian to fellow veggies or those wanting a leaner option. The hostesses were all friendly and lovely people, from a little chat when ordering to a joke when paying, it made this little cafe pop out and make it feel more like you were at a friends or family members kitchen for brekkie. I only have praise for the ladies (didn’t see any men but if there was them too). Cost was shockingly low and when we were presented with the bill I thought something was missed off but I was told nope that’s all it is, I will be going back for all the reasons listed above. Plus at this price it makes it hard to even make my own brekkie for less. Highly recommend this to all and remember to tip and support these business in these times, they are going above and beyond to keep us safe. Huge thanks to all of the hostesses (and hosts)!”

“My parents are buried at the cemetery the tea room is fantastic as I travel from North Kent down to Essex it is lovely to have a drink first. The staff are lovely the prices are good”

“It was Mother’s Day, we were just passing and decided to have a look. It was very busy and fully booked for lunch but the staff were very helpful. We had a pot of excellent tea and soft drinks for the children, sitting on very comfy sofas. Staff were attentive, answered our questions and showed us the menu. We were all very impressed. Food looked iamazing. Great menu with lots of choice including plenty of vegetarian options. Prices were very reasonable too. We will definitely be returning for lunch.”

“I visited for the first time today and received glowing customer service from two gentlemen. I got a full set of acrylics with gel polish and a pedicure, both of which are gorgeous. The guy doing my manicure kept checking that I was happy with the progress at each stage which I welcomed and I was offered a hot drink on arrival. Such lovely people, I will be visiting again!”
