“If anyone is unsure of going back to the hairdressers after lockdown then dont be. Extremely friendly and professional service and I felt very safe having my hair done. All staff are wearing masks and each work station is safely separated and cleaned down after each client. Tea and coffee still offered but in throw away cups. Fab service as usual and cant recommended these guys highly enough.”

“I haven’t used Woking Supercuts for many years due to a bad experience. I was pleasantly surprised how lovely and attentive Kelly was. She was on her own and was doing a great job . I queued for about 40 (I had a wander around the shops) and Kelly was very welcoming. She listened to me and did exactly what I asked. I will definitely be returning and requesting Kelly again.”

“My wife and I have visited the Crown and Anchor on a few occasions since the new owners have taken over and always had a lovely time but have never sampled the food. On Saturday 1st October we booked lunch with 9 family members to get together for my dads birthday who we sadly lost 13 years ago. The food was out of this world, all home cooked. I had the cheese burger which I have to say was up there with the best I have ever had. Lasagna, pizzas, Halloumi burger and the liver and bacon were ordered (dads favourite, which my mum had and said was incredible, her words). Everyone said how amazing their food was. (Kids food was great too). The beers we ordered were perfect, these guys really do know what they are doing.m when it comes to pouring the perfect pint. Can’t rate and thank Wendy and her team highly enough. Nothing was too much, we really did feel like royalty. The tribute to dad was incredible. It was the perfect place to go with Wendy and her Husband Marco being Crystal Palace fans as so are we as a family. Wendy put a palace scarf on the table and put a pint there for dad. It’s these sort of touches that mean so much. We told them we would be bringing our German Shepherd with us and we couldn’t believe what they did, a lovely bed at the end of the table for him to chill in. We also ordered a lovely dinner for him which he really enjoyed. Such a lovely dog friendly pub. The play kids area is amazing, kept the little ones entertained for ages. Wendy even set up an art and craft table for the two little ones while we had our lunch as they had theirs first, again kept them entertained. She ended up being like the pied piper with all the kids in the pub following her around. She took them down to the river that runs along the back of the amazing garden to feed the ducks and swans. So way and above. Again, thank you so much guys for the most amazing afternoon, we really can’t thank you enough. I urge everyone to try this pub, you will not be disappointed. And lastly let’s not forget the barman (sorry, didn’t catch your name), amazing service, always remembered each round and couldn’t do enough for us. One last thing, The Crown and Anchor take food allergies really seriously, there are no nuts on the premises, so if any of you have an allergy, another reason to try this wonderful pub. “The exceptionally handsome manager (think his name was Josh) that served me was an absolute dream. We ordered too much food and he kindly got takeaway boxes and packaged everything up for us. Even gave directions and recommendations for things to do in the evening! Wish I could have taken him home instead of the food”

It makes such a difference going to get my nails done and being met by a friendly face, and being guaranteed a top class set of nails and service! I couldn’t imagine going to anyone else now to have my pamper done, Emily and her staff are hard working, genuine nail technicians with a clear passion for what they do. I love having a good chat and never feeling like what I ask for is too much (which has happened to me plenty of times in other shops!). The prices are, if anything, too low for the quality of work these ladies carry out! Walking out and knowing my nails look amazing and will last is worth every penny! “This visit the steaks were spot on, has to be said it is a bit hit or miss, as sometimes we go and its all great and other times food is being returned as steak not cooked to order or reduced quality of the meat, but we always come back eventually. staff are great i think the servers name is Sue we seem to have her all the time and shes great, more than helpful and friendly. Always top notch service fast and efficient and they dont rush you constantly like most places, so we have plenty of time to chat and enjoy are meal without being pestered.”
