“Such a great madrassah, really prioritises the children and what is in their best interests. The standards set for staff and students in terms of conduct, effort and achievement is high. Very different to other madaaris, where the teachers just stroll in, teach a spontaneous lesson and leave. Teachers here are required to dedicate a lot of time and thought into how they conduct lessons and impart knowledge. This is what the children need and deserve. For this reason among many others, I thoroughly enjoy working here. May Allaah place barakah in the academy.”

“I live in the US and wanted to deliver flowers to my parents for their anniversary. I spoke with Maria but couldn’t decide what to order because there were so many beautiful floral arrangement options. She was kind enough to send me pics of all the arrangements via WhatsApp for me to choose, and even accepted PayPal. On the day of delivery, she sent me pictures of the flowers and message card via WhatsApp, and let me know as soon as it was delivered so I can call my parents and wish them! My mom was literally gushing over the beautiful flowers every day that week! The entire process from placing the order to delivery was thoughtful and an excellent customer experience. “I have written a review on this excellent restuarant before and we visited it again last night. The food and service here is truly remarkable. Its an intimate venue with young, friendly and attentive servers. The food really is excellent. They use a Josper Grill so the steaks are amazing. I had a hearty portion of pate to start and then a superb beef wellington. One of the highlights of dining here is the cocktails. They are inexpensive and pack a punch (both flavour andf booze). I have not had a better Cosmopolitan anywhere else on this planet. In short, they get everything right at The Queens Rooms.”

“This is my third time ordering from Peng Kitchen and every time the food has been exceptional. I look out for consistency when ordering food and so far I can say it has been delicious each time. I’ve ordered a variety of food such as the Mac and cheese, vegan platter, fish cakes (my fave) and the plantain. They were all flavoured well and the platter is well worth your money - even had leftovers each time. My friend ordered the jerk chicken and said that it was moist and well seasoned - which is exactly what you want from jerk chicken. Thank you for the delicious food and looking forward to trying new things when I order next! The staff are also really friendly and the packaging is great which is always handy when ordering a large amount of food. Tried the homemade sorrel as well - and woiii brought me back to my island!!”

“I came here as part of a business group for dinner yesterday evening. Firstly, WOW!! What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful, cosy, intimate venue. We were greeted with a glass of gorgeous Prosecco and seated in comfy chairs. Mood lighting made the place feel so special. Then..the food!! Oh, my!! Platter after platter of the most delicious starters were brought to the table. My personal highlight was the platter of buratta, mixed Italian salamis/prosciutto and tomatoes. I have eaten many buratta in my time but this was beyond-words-delicious. Same with my tuna steak:.never tasted anything like it to this standard. The ‘table wine’ was far beyond anything you would get in a standard Italian in London. It was so smooth..needless to say, many a refill was requested haha!! The two-man staff were efficient, super-attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend Chelsea Cellar enough. Belissimo!!”

“I definitely recommend this clinic! I had spider vein removal done twice and both times Mariana was nice and patient and made me feel good coming in and coming back. The spider veins on my face have disappeared and I'm going back to the White Clinic for other treatments. I did have a lash lift as well which did not really give me the effect I was looking for but it was performed well without any side effects. The atmosphere is welcoming, everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and it's very conveniently located near Old Street station :)”

“I started Pilates classes at Vanbrugh physio with Anja at the beginning of the year to help with injury prevention and flexibility. I’ve never really got on with Pilates before but absolutely love these classes. They’re small so you feel like you’re getting personal attention and Anja and Rachel are fantastic teachers who bring great energy and knowledge. I’m feeling stronger and more supple and it’s definitely the most relaxing part of my week. Cannot recommend highly enough.”

“Myself and my partner had a belated romantic getaway to this unique hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is stunning inside and like being inside one of the finest Georgian houses of 19th century London. It is sparkling and spotless but also beautifully warm and cosy too. We were made to feel so at home and welcome. We arrived early and the lovely staff on reception took our bags and gave us a choice of 3 luxurious lounges to choose from while our room was finished. We had a delightful private lounge area next to our bedroom (Odabiah Shuttleworth was the quirky room name). ALL of the staff seem genuinely happy and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We ate out for lunch and just had M&S nibbles in our room for the evening and although there’s no restaurant the room service menu looked lovely. The (hot) breakfast tray in our room the next morning (can also have in one of the lounges) had such attention to detail and was another, of the many highlights. An experience to remember and we’re now thinking of checking out the other hotels by the same group.”

“We loved this tour having had a caravan on the Isle of Sheppey for 10 years. It was so good to see all the landmarks - and those of neighbouring towns from the sea. We particularly enjoyed learning about the history of the port and the shipreck.. Jack and his colleague for fab,, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.
