Ippudo Canary Wharf
“One of our favourite places to go for ramen. Nice broth with tender charshu. Love the chicken kara-age and the buns too. A little pricey for the portions though. There’s always a queue and the wait can be quite long. Not very pleasant when it rains or during cold weather.”
Eat Tokyo (Notting Hill Gate)
“The moment you enter the place a smell of deliciousness hits your nose and makes you want to sit down and order even more. They have a lot of staff members and with a reason. It’s a busy restaurant. The service was good nevertheless. The food was amazing. Tasty. Filling. Affordable. Honestly, everything one would need. It’s honestly such a gem in the city centre. Prompts to them for keeping their prices the way they are!”
米 Kome Express- South Woodford
“I had tasted sushi and Bubble tea at Kome express. It was really delicious. Appreciate them because they made it with their effort which I thought after completing my food. Go head kome. Best of Luck ❤️”

“We came around 4:30pm and the store is half full…I must say it’s nice and cozy. We had most of the vegan menu to get a little healthier since we can’t eat much of this at home. We had the best vegamama experience. The food was on point!!! Thanks to the friendly staff most specially to Thang & Lama! You guys made our day!!!”

“For starters we went for Prawn Karaage which are plump red Atlantic prawns, lightly floured and deep-fried - it was so good dipped in their yuzu-chilli mayo! We also had Hanetsuki gyoza which had a good amount of pork filling and such a crispy crust! For drinks we wanted to try something from their impressive selection of hot drinks! We had the Kyoto Oolong which is a rare organic oolong tea from Japan which we really liked!! We also ordered a Green Velvet Matcha but it was too bitter for us! For mains we ordered the Yaki-Udon with mixed seafood which is stir-fried udon with Chinese leaf, carrots, and shiitake topped with fried shallots, pickled ginger, Japanese mayo and katsuobushi - loved this dish! We also ordered the Lazy Goat Ragù-men which we both really wanted to try because of how unique it sounded and it was 6th in @timeoutlondon best dishes 2018! It is slow cooked boneless goat leg and thick noodles in a rich and spicy Indo-Caribbean curry sauce, topped with Scotch bonnet bamboo shoots, fried shallots, seafood sawdust and a tea-pickled egg. This isn’t a combination of ingredients we would think to put together but it works so well and is such an explosion of flavours! - @eatwithlaki”

Osaka Japanese Restaurant Winchmore Hill
“There is a Japanese and Indian restaurant in the same location. We chose Japanese. Every dish is available with Tofu making lots of Vegan choices. Food and service was good. I had red curry. For me the sauce was a bit thick and not spicy enough but it was very good. My wife loved it. Only complaints are Desserts are dull and no non-alcoholic drinks but there are plenty of other things we want to try on the menu.”
Yokoso Sushi Ilford
“Local sushi place that always delivers on quality and taste. We stick to the sushi plus the Katsu. The sushi is great value and very tasty. Gotta say it’s never let us down. Once in a while the presentation isn’t quite on point but the flavours always are. My only squibble. Chop the ginger otherwise you’re making me do the work. Love this place!”
Waka Waka Sushi (Battersea)
“Enjoyed the sushi! Fish seemed fresh and the rolls were well proportioned between fish and rice. The people working there were friendly and they have a big menu to choose from that is well priced.”
