“Incredible cute restaurant - and my favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood. I was initially going to leave a poor review about the place, given that we waited quite a long time for the food, how expensive it was, and it seemed as though they microwaved a couple of the dishes on the menu - but all these thoughts melted away as soon as I tried the food - and the wait had been completely worth it. Highly recommend their legendary Takoyaki. Quantities may come across as small, but it certainly isn't - they serve far more than most other local Japanese places. This was by far the best Japanese food I have ever tried so far, and I have visited practically every Japanese restaurant in the borough, and this ranks at the top of all of them - beating the more lavish and posh restaurants in the area by miles. I don't think any other Japanese restaurant in Ealing/Acton ranks as high as this particular one. And the staff... they were incredibly friendly, and apologised after the long wait. No wonder they're always so busy! 10/10. Only criticisms would be to perhaps stir the edamame whilst it's cooking, to prevent salt being concentrated in certain areas, and maybe lower the price of the drinks and/or offer free tap water. Increasing the portion sizes of sushi to fit the price would also be ideal, given that the sushi is the only thing that is more expensive than the expensive Japanese restaurants. But other than that, please don't change a thing!”

“We’ve been looking for a great sushi restaurant since we moved to London from the US 7 months ago and now we’ve found it! Nori was excellent with good portions, good prices and great service. Glad we found a new favorite restaurant Look for the sign above the drive/alley and take the stairs up one floor. You won’t be disappointed”

“My partner and I go here on a regular basis, fairly honest on a weekly basis. The staff are always next to nothing short of exceptional to us and everyone else who are lucky enough to go here. It's got the typical Japanese sombre yet comfortable atmosphere and you'll be very surprised at just how quick and delicious the food comes out. Never a fault since the first time we had been and that was a year ago! Thanks Misugo! Ps. After reading over my last post. I wanted to add that my partner and I still go here regularly and the food has only gotten better. Pretty sure portion sizes have increased too !”

“Great find! Walking through Putney with a rumble in the belly for something tasty to eat. Walked by all the usual burger, chicken, fries suspects and then the god of good choices illuminated the way. Inviting from the outside, super friendly from the inside (thank you Michelle). “Very awesome and casual traditional Japanese diner in the corner of the busy China town district. If you’re looking for less of a noisy environment this is the perfect place! Plenty of seating through 3 floors and customers are seated spaciously throughout. Lovely views of the lanterns and the high street. Staff was very helpful and polite. They were able to recommend us things and guide us through the menu well. We preferred katsu curry tofu soba, katsu egg sauce with pork and rice bed and seaweed salad. Everything was empty when we left the table! The only sad thing is that they didn’t have takeout boxes. Beware that they also don’t take tip and have a cashless policy. Excellent place and highly recommend!”

“New favourite sushi restaurant in London!! Small but very authentic, only a few tables which makes it more special. We loved everything we ordered from the menu, no exceptions and that never happens, shout out to the chefs. The quality of the fish is really good and the ratio fish/rice in the sushi is amazing! Loved the miso soup, prawn gyozas, the temakis were great as well as the crispy prawn roll uramaki. Expensive but worth it. Special mention to the Spanish waitress that served us, she was helpful and really nice. We will be back for sure.”

“I loved the prawn tempura Udon that I had at this place! The prawn was perfect and the tempura coating wasn't too much. The broth was delicious! My friend had grilled cod with rice which was extremely filling and delicious as well. This place is usually crowded so make sure you have a lot of time when you come in. They have toilets which is a good thing. The interiors are quite active with authentic setting. Although beware, the menu prices online aren't the same as the restaurant (the restaurant is more expensive)”

“Stumbled across Nala and what a great find for superb quality sushi. Small upstairs seating area but there is a downstairs as well. Friendly welcome and everything freshly prepared to order. Tried the Genmai tea and small hot sake to drink. To eat, I had the Takoyaki which was piping hot and melt in your mouth (no chewy octopus in sight) with spicy salmon, fatty tuna with spring onion and tried the snow crab and flying fish roe gunkan. Tons of flavour, perfect temperature of the rice and well balanced flavours. Can’t recommend enough for quality sushi that’s well priced. Happy Eating! Olly”

“It is a very nice place. I ordered from them multiple times and several times eat inside. They are always great. The cooks are great. They really like their jobs so do waitress. They are amazing and helpful and always taking care. I enjoyed the food in this branch and will come back again. Definitely.”

“Best ramen I have had in a while! Managed to amend my ramen slightly for a different broth. The plain ramen was a bit disappointing and needed a lot of extras to make it tasty but the chili pulled chicken was on point, would recommend!”

“Really bright, vibrant, appealing looking restaurant drew me in. There's a cool, young team of staff. Relaxed vibe. The food was delicious. I had the M22. I love aubergines and courgettes and this was a glorious large serving.”

“Great food served promptly. Bit of a queue outside on a Sunday night, but stuck with it and glad we did as the queue shifted to nothing in less than five minutes. Just the right amount of time reading the menu before the waitress asked for our order, which came less than 10 minutes later. All freshly prepared and bang on to the descriptions in the menu. The dishes looked exactly like the menu which is rare these days. Waitress was quick with the next round of drinks and then the bill. Couldn't really ask for more, thank you Yasmin.”

“Great service. Wagamama always seems to have a queue to get in but we were sat down after waiting in line 5-10 minutes and the wait was worth it. Food didn't take too long to come and it was delicious. The Vegatsu was lovely and my friend loved the Firecracker Chicken which she said had a good amount of heat. I love that you can pay the bill on line and even split the bill. If I could just change one thing I'd prefer that dishes came together as my friend had to wait a bit longer than me for her food, but that's across all Wagamamas so not a reflection on this branch. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.”

“We have a wonderful time at Eat Tokyo Holborn last week. Food was amazing and sushi was fresh. We had 3 big bottles of sake wine that night and really enjoyed. Would definitely recommend.”

“What a lucky find. We got to the market about an hour before closing, but many vendors were already shutting down. We got counter seats here and had delicious food with great company in the kitchen! We ordered the pork dumplings, beef bento and pork belly ramen. Everything was so good, but the dumplings were the star of the show. We ordered a second serving! Definitely recommend going for the suggested chili oil on top. The chef also was happy to give us some recommendations for activities the rest of our trip. Such a great place.”
