Even after I left, the mesmerising taste taste stayed in my mouth. I definitely will be buying from there again. The premises are very clean and attractive. Something that is always reassuring in the food trade. I’m very fussy where I eat and found the food to be easy on my sensitive stomach.”

The DP Cafe - Whitton Sunday 11th September 2022 - 15:50 Opening Hours: Monday - Saturday- 07:00-17:00 Sunday - 08:00-16:00 There is some seating outside and plenty of seating inside. The refurbishment inside is really nice and is colourful, bright, fresh and it is very clean. I had a medium coffee with a slice of chocolate and caramel cake. A really nice smooth coffee and scrumptious cake, all for £6.30p which I think is reasonable. The couple running the place are friendly, polite and very welcoming. I’m not one for coffee shops but I will definitely become a regular visitor here.”

“Had an amazing experience dining here, would highly recommend it! We booked a table for later that day and although they were busy, they managed to squeeze us in. So glad they could - the sashimi was fresh and the sushi was delicious. Particularly enjoyed the dragon roll. The service was perfect - the staff were friendly, attentive and generous. “Amazing dining experience and splendid service! We ordered risotto pollo e fungi (chicken and mushroom risotto) and tagliatelle gamberi e aspargi (fettucine with prawns and asparagus) and they were absolutely nothing like we tasted before. Both were scrumptious and cooked to the right texture. Comfort food at its best! I recommend adding the red-pepper-infused olive oil while savouring their cuisines. The server/host Luca was especially friendly. He helped us with sprinkling cheese powder and pepper, then upon settling our bill, offered us complimentary Limoncello which tasted really delicate. If you’re ever in Twickenham, this is the place to check out for a cosy and warm dining experience.”

It’s so nice to be able to go and eat in again but the takeaway service they provided in lockdown was fabulous! I also love a takeaway coffee when working from home. Couldn’t ask for a better restaurant right at the end of my road!”

“Came in here for dinner after the rugby and it was the perfect choice. The food is absolutely smashing and there is so much to choose from for both veggies and meat eaters. The staff are really attentive and friendly, and was a great place to finish off a cracking day. Will definitely return when i head to Twickenham again.”

“Squares of thin-base sourdough pizza with varying toppings - including a vegan option - for £4.50, served 'Folded' like a wrap. It's easy to confuse this with a Calzone (traditional folded pizza), but that's more like a pasty in appearance. Really tasty crust - thin, chewy and crispy at the same time. The salami was plentiful and great quality. For the price, it's a convenient way to get top quality pizza on the go. Cheap priced coffee drinks are available - the cappuccino (£2.80) was edible without being remarkable in any way. Well worth checking out this place - I think it'll be very successful. Edit - I'm very frustrated that this place offers no way to tip the staff; z even Starbucks has a tips jar, which offers them a way to supplement their low wages. The owner could do this with minimal effort, and it would make a big difference to them. I hope he reads this and takes appropriate action.”

“The food here was excellent and the service was great too. The only (small) criticism would be that the lighting is too bright but that's just being pedantic. The pizza is cooked on the lightest homemade base and you can taste the quality of the ingredients they use right down to the delicious tomato sauce. I will definitely be coming back to try the pasts dishes and other delights.”

“Our mum sadly passed away in July and we were given this shop as a recommendation by several people after we asked on Facebook. Mark was friendly and helpful. We sent him a photo of what we wanted for our floral arrangement and the time and date it was needed, we paid and then honestly didn’t have to give it another thought! Exactly how we needed things to be during such a hard time. The arrangement was beautiful, delivered on time and as an added bonus, was quite a bit cheaper than we’d seen it elsewhere. Highly recommended.”

“Ordered crispy squid, Tom yum soup, chicken ginger spring onion, chicken Hong Kong style, and egg fried rice. Was delivered quickly. Received the small rice instead of the large but they are forgiven. Food was amazing. Leagues ahead of the last 3 Chinese takeaways we have tried in the locale. Chicken was flavoursome not the usual "tipped" chicken you get in takeaways {which is watery and voluminous but tasteless}. The chicken in each dish had taken on the flavour of the dish and not just boiled and added. Chilli pepper Squid was sublime. Still crispy on arrival thanks to the modification to the container to let the steam out. Soup was delicious. Hong Kong chicken was beautifully crispy. Egg fried rice was OK. Hoping its not a one off. Just blown away by this gem in my neighbourhood. Lucky Garden if you're reading...dont change anything. Top marks to the management through to the chefs.”
