Lammas Park
● Open30 Elers Road, London W13 9QD, United Kingdom“Large park in the heart of Northfields/South Ealing. There's a smaller toddler/preschooler play area next to the playschool as well as a larger play area by the Northfields entrance for primary school kids. Pedestrians get testy about cyclists for some reason but generally a lovely park for families.”

Midori Japanese Restaurant
● Closed“Delicious Food. When I use to study nearby, Midori would be my absolute go to restaurant whenever I and my friends were feeling hungry. Service is amazing, wait time isn’t too long, and the food I always trust to fill me up. I always got the same bibimbap every time I went here, and I can say for certain it’s absolutely delicious.”

Very much enjoyed our meals; all the usual fayre on offer and was all very good quality. The Complimentary glass of House Red was most welcome too! Staff very attentive and the wait for food a very reasonable 20 minutes. Could not eat all we had ordered and they happily put rest in take away containers for us to take home. All in all a very good experience”

Little Sicily Sicilian Street Food
● Open“This is a fabulous restaurant with the kindest staff! We found ourselves stuck in Trafalgar Square last week with dead phones and no way to get back to our hotel near the airport. We stepped into their restaurant to calm down with a meal and glass of wine (which worked). On leaving, my daughter asked the lovely hostess if she could possibly let us use their wifi and charger so we could call an Uber. The hostess whipped out her own phone and called us a cab which arrived immediately. Thank you for saving our American butts and also for the meal, which was fantastic!”

The Blackfriar
● Open“The Blackfriar gets it's name as it was built on the site of an old monastery. When you walk in the first thing you do is look around you everywhere as it is stunning. It is part of the Nicholson chain of pubs so it does decent food, I had a vegetable&lentil pie and it set me up well for a day of drinking! In the 1960's The Blackfriar was nearly lost to redevelopment, which goes to show how fragile the future of pubs even the most historic can be. It is conveniently located across the road from...you guessed it Blackfriars Station, it is on the Thameslink or the London Underground.”

Beauty By Sonal
● Open“I’ve recently started visiting Beauty By Sonal as it’s a local salon. I received my first pedicure at the end of August, I’ve only just had to go back for another one. Paula really knows her stuff, she’s friendly & makes sure I’m happy before anything. All the salons in Wembley charge a similar (if not more!) price. This will definitely be the place I get my pedicures now & I highly recommend Paula!!”

Kings Health Chinese Clinic
● Open“I grew up in a family with close connections to Chinese medicine, and have spent years looking for a good Chinese clinic in London. I am really glad to have found a clinic who is authentic with a doctor with a long family lineage of Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine includes so much ancient wisdom of wholistic health and healing, from herbal medicine to acupuncture to electrotherapy and psychotherapy. I have been coming here every week for whole a year now, and have improved my overall health, immunity and chronic pain condition. Every time I had an acute pain condition such as headache, acupuncture helps relieve it immediately. I would also recommend trying out the electrotherapy as it is a very rare skill to acquire, and it helps detox your inner organs and align your overall chakra. Dr. Cristina has also been really influential in helping me understanding the relationship between psychotherapy/mental health and physical health and achieving a wholistic approach to improving one's overall health and well-being in life.”

Kathleen House Plus
● Closed“I booked a room for my mom and sister to stay for 15 days and they had an overall very good experience for the price and what is available in the area! The facilities (fridge, microwave, cupboard and sink for dishes) make it a lot more worth it than the nearest hotel. I would definitely recommend it! Jermaine, the manager, is also very approachable and very fast to answer any queries.”

Clayton Hotel City of London
● Open“Amazing hotel, great location - across road from Aldgate East tube station. Lots of things go do and see in this area - Sunday market was on nearby. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Sam and The breakfast was beautiful - you just go up and help yourself to cereal and the hot buffet. There is a good selection available - bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, hash browns, beans, mushrooms etc. Lots of different types of bread / cake available and coffee / hot chocolate etc from a machine. The bedrooms were bigger than a lot of the hotels I’ve been to before and really modern and clean. The shower was really good and there were no unwelcome noises when we wanted to sleep. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Paul & Jo.”

Simply Guesthouse
● Open“Lovely host who is super flexible to catering to the guest's needs. Cosy room we had. It's about 30 minutes train ride from Abbey Wood station to central London but station is only about 5 mins walk from the house. The nice thing living this far out was that we got to experience it somewhat like the locals. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Note that the house is shared accomodation so you habe to be comfortable with that type of setup. All the guests respected each other's privacy so that was all good. What's even better wad that it was one of the cheapest accommodations around. Highly recommended for those who are not local but want to experience neighborhood living rather than fancy hotels.”

Empire Cinemas - Walthamstow
● Open267 High Street, London E17 7FD, United Kingdom“Ordered ticket online and went in for the VIP experience. It really does make you feel very important. The selection of sweets, treats and ice cream was incredible. The lift to the private VIP area was elegant. There is a lounge area to relax in before the movie. The seats in the cinema were very spacious, private and have an amazing view of the screen. All I’m all a super luxurious experience. Highly recommended the VIP feature in this cinema. It is also very close to some great shops near by Nandoos, five guys, heavenly deserts etc”

The Maqam Centre
● Open“Can't help wonder if the last 4 reviews were left by the same person; all one star, unnecessarily vile and left on the evening of 29/7/22. They are more a reflection of the bitter and vindictive person who has left them than the Centre. I have been coming here for a few months now and always been treated with courtesy. Would recommend.”

Hudsons
● Closed“Found this place on one of delivery company's website and didn't regret it! The burger was really really nice and very filling (two meat patties) and the Sticky Korean Fried Chicken was pretty good too even though I am not a big fan of peas in rice (it tasted much better than it looks). Will definitely try again!”

Royal Oak

● Closed“Where should I start. Once we arrived, we felt like home. The stuff treated us with such a respect, they were smiling all the time and they were very kind. We ordered chicken tikka masala, chicken korma and chicken nuggets. Let me say it was the best meal I've ever had. Passion coctail drink tasted delicious too. I really recommend this place to everyone. Hope to come back again soon.”
