“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”

“Popped in with 20 minutes to spare before show time, they were fully booked for football, but were happy for us to use a table and have some food before they had to give the table to the reservation. Food was quick and tasted great, good pint of cider and friendly staff!”

“Best pub about for Miles. Lines and Glass's are crystal Clean. It's a Locals Pub but one which is very Welcoming. Always has 4 Ales on and 2-3 Guest Ales. Staff are Polite and Pub is kept spotless. Land lady is Brilliant reason Pub is Very Popular.”

“We were greeted at the door by a less-than-pleasant host which set a bad precedent. However, our server Alison, was excellent! She was very caring and kind, stopping in to ask how our food is. The food was great for a fair price. Will be back again for sure!”

“We visit for a monthly meet up with friends and its a lovely little pub. Prices are ok but the atmosphere is the best, especially in summer, though the beer garden is open throughout the year.”

“One of the oldest Pubs in Dartford and Tbh the best one. A good bunch of requlars and very friendly bar staff. It is always kept clean and tidy and has a great selection of beers wines and spirits. Can be quite busy on weekends. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone”

“All 21 of us met up here before attending an 80s Disco in The Orchard Theatre. The bar staff were friendly, polite and courteous. An ideal meeting place for pre show or function drinks. Very good facilities and bar area.”

“Staff are really friendly and the food is great. Beer garden is excellent in the summer. The location, right by the mill and the river just adds to the quaint vibe. The iconic bridge which is at least 500 years old really adds to the character of Farningham. This pub is amazing for families and we often take our kids who enjoy being outdoors. I highly recommend it.”
