“Richard (Magic OZ) was brilliant, absolutely amazing from start to finish. I knew as soon as I spoke with him on the phone that he would fit into our wedding 'vibe' perfectly. He is so friendly, funny and obviously... magic! Everyone loved him from the children to the oldies. He tailored his tricks and performance accordingly and took the time out to spend some one-to-one time with my dad who has dementia so kept the tricks suitable for his ability etc. Would absolutely not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any occasion. “A quaint bistro hidden amongst stables, not the easiest of places to get to on foot, the driveway up is riddled with potholes and uneven if you are disabled so be careful, but there is a ramp descent after entering the cafe which is good. The cafe is really tastefully furnished, very mid-western, the breakfast was an enormous plate of food cooked extremely well. Good italian menu offerings. We will be back in the future the host was very welcoming.”

“I have dined here several times and each time they never fail to amaze me. I introduced my Spanish friend to Somali food yesterday and she loved it. She has an open mind and excited to try foods from different cultures and loved her experience. I over-ate as usual lol because the food is absolutely delicious especially the green chilli sauce which I love, hot but tasty. Huge man size portions and very reasonably priced especially as I tend to order lamb. Thank you for your amazing food and wonderful service.”

“Oh wow, if your looking for a party venue then this place is amazing! My son had his 6th birthday party here and had the best time. The children all have SEN, so I was worried if the staff would be able to accommodate all the children… I didn’t need to worry. They were amazing! Would def look at booking again x”

“Family run pub, cheapest pints in town. Very well run, very clean, fantastic rear beer garden, heated and tellies. Great for sports, a date or even a sing and dance on the weekend. All sprinkled with a touch of the Irish. Great pub.”

“The Subud Hall is a superb venue to hire. It has the perfect floor for Ballet classes, and it is always clean, tidy and warm with added boosters for those extra cold days in the Winter. It is a very attractive hall with with "State of the Arts" lighting for all occassions. A well designed kitchen, a large disabled toilet with Baby changing facility. Upstairs there is a smaller hall also well maintained. Plus 2 toilets. All with the added benifit of a car park adjacent to the hall and another just opposite. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Called in for a couple of drinks on a hot day, and really enjoyed the atmosphere. An eclectic mix of clientele, but all very friendly. Nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world, and one I'd like to go back to. Unfortunately, the Miller's Well is on the list to be sold by Wetherspoon as of writing this. Hoping another chain will take it on. It would be a shame for the area to lose a good watering hole.”

“I came here as part of a business group for dinner yesterday evening. Firstly, WOW!! What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful, cosy, intimate venue. We were greeted with a glass of gorgeous Prosecco and seated in comfy chairs. Mood lighting made the place feel so special. Then..the food!! Oh, my!! Platter after platter of the most delicious starters were brought to the table. My personal highlight was the platter of buratta, mixed Italian salamis/prosciutto and tomatoes. I have eaten many buratta in my time but this was beyond-words-delicious. Same with my tuna steak:.never tasted anything like it to this standard. The ‘table wine’ was far beyond anything you would get in a standard Italian in London. It was so smooth..needless to say, many a refill was requested haha!! The two-man staff were efficient, super-attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend Chelsea Cellar enough. Belissimo!!”

This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”

It was honestly incredible, there was so much to do and all of the characters were amazing and had so much time for every single child. “I visited this restaurant last week after finding it on Meerkat dining out. Check in advance what the offers are on this as it seems a little out of date. The owner/manager is a very happy chap who was very attentive. The decor was tasteful and rustic and the atmosphere was relaxed. Fresh lightly grilled bread was served which was a bonus. 3 of us all had a main meal and shared a bottle of wine. With the discount it came to about £50. All the food was fresh and tasty. Overall a very nice place and I am sure we will return in future.”

“Decent bar, came here on the recommendation that it is the best Irish bar that isn’t in Ireland! Didn’t disappoint. Bit tight for space and the outdoor area closes kinda early and you’re just expected to find somewhere to stand in the tiny indoor area. Pints were great!”
