“Great service, food is fresh and delicious. Everything was prepared with care and staff are lovely! However, whenever we try to return, the opening times seems so random. Tried to pop over for a weekday lunch a few times when google says it’s open but the shutters are down. Quite annoying if you’ve walked a good 10-15mins to get there. Need updated business hours I think.”

“Gorgeous decor and ambience. The staff there were totally out of this world. I was there working as a digital nomad during the day and despite the fact the young lady on the bar was alone in the morning, she went out of her way to check I was okay whilst managing other customers. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Food was delicious. Total gem of a place! I'll be back :)”

“I only go when there's music on, rock, it's loud, proud and you have fun. You can dance, good drink selection and the one person whose usually on, on music night is quick and efficient. You can also dine there but cannot comment as never eaten. The pub is clean and comfortable so even if you don't go for the music you'll be in comfortable surroundings.”

“Having defeated the French at Waterloo a grateful nation built this pub as a lasting memorial. Well worth a visit to pay pilgrimage. His boots are on display. All this history and great beer. Bootiful.”

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed with people which is always a good sign. Cocktails were lovely, there’s a weekly cocktail special going which is great. I ordered the spiced fries (absolutely delicious, best fries I’ve had in a while) and the jerk chicken which was nice but could have had a little more flavour. Would come back to try other things on the menu.”

“My son recently had his birthday party held here. The food was amazing along with the staff. The staff were very friendly and everyone could tell the food was made with care. The venue downstairs happened to be the best part. It was filled with a DJ booth and a bar a selection of drinks to choose from.The owner set most of the party up and respected all of us. Everyone enjoyed the party and wanted to come back. You should definitely come here! I can't wait to visit again! Well done! Kapture will be my goto for any event in future”

“Amazing taste experience. Tried the "Sylheti sizzler" quarter chicken meal. The staff were friendly and food prepared fresh to order. They provided a pot of spicy sauce upon request for free which was absolutely to die for. If you nearby or even are just passing I highly recommend trying a meal here! Top marks. Only one small thing was the canned drinks could do with being refrigerated. Will definitely be back in future to try other menu items as well.”

“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”
