“We really enjoyed our stay at Leonardo. We booked a double room and paid on arrival, we were then told that we had a free upgrade to a king-size room which was a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated! The rooms are clean, light, and great-sized. The bathroom has a shower and a bath, with a lovely illuminated mirror. We had water and biscuits provided every day during our stay and a working fridge which can be used. There is a bar and restaurant which we didn't use but was always busy which is a good sign, and there is a small shop with snacks and drinks should you require anything. The hotel is situated a 5 min walk from Croydon East station, and takes about 30 minutes to get into London, making it a good base in my opinion. Equally, Croydon centre is a 5 minute walk and there is an array of places to eat and drink nearby. Would stay here again and would recommend.”

“I have been Staying at the Hilton London Croydon as I am working nearby. I have been there for four weeks and it has been a very pleasant stay. The rooms are large , very clean and modern with TV , drinks cooler, and air conditioning. Super comfortable bed. Nice modern clean bathroom. The Staff are always friendly approachable and helpful . Excellent parking . The breakfast is always a winner with a good choice for both Continental and full English . The team serving breakfast are so friendly they really do set you up for the day.”

“Had an absolutely lovely experience at Paratha Inn when I visited in 2021. I am planning to return soon when I am in the area. The Parathas were lovely and the ambience of the restaurant was great. I loved the food immensely and my kids loved the food as well. The portion sizes of the Parathas was quite big too. Definitely visit this place.”

“The food is absolutely amazing with the BEST SERVICE IN CROYDON. We had the veg moussaka, chicken shish and chicken casserole and every dish was tasty and delicious. We went for dinner with family tonight and the staff were Amazing especially IRFAN who went above and beyond for us. They gave us complimentary salad, bread hummus and cous cous and this made our night. We felt relaxed and constantly looked after, can't recommend this restaurant enough!!!”

“Excellent cafe I had the pancakes breakfast number 1 that came with pancakes bacon sausage hashbrowns scrambled egg and toast all beautifully cooked and super tasty. The cafe itself is very clean and tidy with very friendly helpfull staff. The menu is stacked with all foods from super health to super treats and also great milkshakes and beverages.”

“I found the food here most enjoyable, much better than the sort of curries you can get in places where good flavour and texture are replaced by salt, sugar and hot spice all put into something more like a porridge. Also great in this small restaurant was that one of the main guys there was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Under new management and ownership, with now a great atmosphere in a wonderful location, a short distance from East Croydon Station, with lovely welcoming staff, a brilliant catering team preparing amazing Afro-Caribbean Food. “Fantastic customer service by Ted when I was purchasing a new mattress. I ordered via phone months after having visited in person and the older price was honoured. Delivery charge was very fair too. The delivery men (contracted) were a little sour but it was the end of their day; no stars off for HoR just an FYI for customers. They were not able to take shoes off due to H&S so just something to be aware of.”

“I ordered starters crispy squid, gizzard and there was another order of chofi. Must say the squid wasn’t nice at all. It was shaped like nuggets not your usual ring shape which made it taste battery instead of tasting the actual squid quite disappointing. Must say the rest of the starters that was ordered were really nice and well seasoned. Also the moko it came with was delicious. I got jollof as takeaway yet to taste it. Deffo do recommend this restaurant service was great.”

“I love this place. I have been ordering Pizza from here for over 10 years. Everything is halal so you can enjoy all choices without worry. All the Pizzas are delivered pipping hot. They are generous with the toppings and the buy one get on free deal just can’t be beat.”

Thanks also to her colleague who helped at times. The food and drinks were great and we enjoyed ourselves. A bonus about the location is that it was just next door to Coombe Gardens where we could take photos. Overall, a very good way to celebrate an event. Thanks and great job to the staff.
