London Fields Lido
● Closed“Really great way to spend a summer day. Easy to book but accepting walk ins (at least in the morning). It gets pretty crowded but not unmanageable. You need to put your towel on the ground that is concrete but the pool is not overcrowded. Remember to take 1 pound for the lockers (retrievable). They have a cafe that serves coffee, drinks and food through the day. If you book morning you can stay practically the whole day. There is enough place decaded for both free swimming and the professional swimming. Highly recommend!”

Poolside Manor
● Closed“Our sons ages 3 and 9, absolutely love poolside manor. Our youngest has some anxiety about the pool and Vicki has been incredible in reducing this. His lessons are fun, personalised and completely suit what he needs. Since learning with Vicki his confidence has grown massively to the point where he was going down all the water slides on holiday this summer with total glee. Vicki is such a competent skilled creative and warm lady who goes above and beyond. Our older son who is now 9 also began as a nervous swimmer. Today he is a skilled confident swimmer who loves the pool, due to Vicki and her team’s care and support! I am a Child Psychologist and I know I am not always easy to please when it comes to my kids, however with Vicki I completely trust her and know she can 100% support the children, help them make progress and achieve to their full potential. Poolside camp is also great fun for the boys. They love the climbing wall, bouncy castle, pool and different activities on offer especially the tuc shop! But also the relationships they have with the staff who are so caring and kind and help them feel comfortable and happy. Thank you Vicki to you and the team for everything. 5*** all round experience!”

Hampton Pool
● Closed“Fabulous local outdoor heated pool. Staff are very friendly. There is a small rooftop cafe. Along with lane and recreational swimming there are various fitness classes. I have tried Aqua aerobics, great fun and great instructors. They are even open Christmas Day.”

Charlton Lido and Lifestyle Club
● Closed“A wonderful outdoor Olympic (50m) size lido in south-east London. Extremely clean and heated year round making winter swimming possible, even without a wetsuit. Inside and outdoor changing facilities. Friendly staff and a nice mix of local leisure bathers and a friendly swimming community make for a very nice relaxed atmosphere. Some swimming and triathlon clubs train here too. There's a full Better gym on-site (which can be used for an extra fee) and something quite unique, an outdoor spin studio overlooking the pools. Some of the spin instructors are very entertaining as they motivate their classes :). You will definitely leave feeling refreshed and happier than when you arrived.”

Wycombe Rye Lido
● Closed“This place is absolutely wonderful! The sights here are nice and is full of wildlife! There a lot of ducks and other little critters all over the rye. There is plenty of walking around the area too! It's just one of those days where you can walk endlessly and enjoy an amazing adventure with friends!”

Pools on the Park
● Open“Beautifully cool and clean outdoor pool. Well maintained and staffed with 2 lifeguards. You can change outside or use the indoor rooms, and there's a cafe inside for afterwards. Numbers are limited so you'll need to book well in advance by setting up an online account for each person, and there is a waiting list function for full sessions. Public sessions offer 3 lanes (slow, med, fast) and capacity is per lane. Despite the hassle of setting up an account and the somewhat curt receptionist, the swimming experience is very relaxed. Highly recommended on a hot day - but book a week ahead.”
