“To be honest, this is not the best japanese restaurant and some dishes are not very good , but it is worth five stars, because of the way they keep cost low make it affordable for many, no wonder they are very busy.”

“Been here several times before and in their sister restaurant Yashin Sushi. It’s my favorite spot for sushi in London. Also recommend their toro set which is just fatty tuna that melts in your mouth. Staff was lovely as well.”

“A truly authentic Japanese dining experience. It's like you were walking down a cobble stone road in Japan and found a delicious, family run restaurant. I was so impressed with the menu and the taste of everything we tried blew us away! I think I could easily call it the best Japanese I've eat here in London (that isn't just sushi and katsu curry), the best from my experience in Australia and up there with the top ones I've tried in Japan. Also very reasonably priced! I'm going to get it wrong as to what we had exactly but I'll try: - Agedashi Tofu (came out piping hot, tofu was so silken and soft, batter perfectly crunchy and not too thick and the dashi broth was perfect!) - Sukiyaki (my husband had this one but I tried it. Nice, simple Japanese stir-fry taste of meat and vegetables served on steamed rice). - Nabeyaki Udon soup - all I can say is that broth was spectacular! Same broth apparently for both this soup and the tempura soup, but if you try it you'll understand why! The udon noodles were thick and delicate, and it was served with shitake mushrooms, tempura prawn, chicken and a delicately poached egg inside. Next time I'll take photos! Oh and they had ShabuShabu on the menu for those looking (£45) - not sure if per person or not but I definitely want to try on a cold winter's day!”

“I have been here many years back when they used to do buffet. Remembered the big portion of this. The restaurant recently was doing 50 percent promotion offer and came here to try some of their ala carte menu. Food was amazing and the selection dishes we ordered came out to be nicely presented and also tasty! I would definitely recommend people to come here if you are in Camden Town area. Most of the dishes were definitely good to go for.”

“Some of my friends and I decided to eat at Shinobi Sushi after jogging in hamstead heath for about 2 hours. I had Ebi Fri Katsu (prawn, curry, mixed vegy) for 7.89 and my friends had Chicken Katsu curry and chicken yakisoba for £7.90 and £6.90 respectively. In fact, most of the menu is below £10 which is always a plus in my book. Service was quick and staff were nice. Definitely coming back soon. Five out of 5 stars.”

“Delicious huge tub of tofu Katsu curry, perfectly cooked rice and crispy tofu in a tasty katsu sauce. Fantastic value, quick friendly service and lots of choice for meat and non-meat eaters. This place deserves to do well, fab new edition to shopping centre.”

“This is my favourite itsu - (got the loyalty app and everything). Really friendly crew - esp Theo, I asked his name the other day as he's so smiley and helpful. If he's not Manager he really should be - I'd have him in my company like a shot. Whilst I'm reviewing can you improve the range of udon noodle pots - not just chicken and more chicken. “Lovely staff, and good food. a nice quiet environment too. I came here with my younger brother, we got a medley of things, sushi across to ramen, sides and desert, only dissapointing was the mochi, no option for flavour of ice cream , and was honestly underwhelming”

“It’s changed since I’ve eaten here last with terminals now for ordering and not just picking up the food to take to the counter to pay. Had no issues though, found what I wanted to eat, paid, number was called out after waiting for around 5 mins and was on my way. Food was lovely and the chocolate dessert was especially tasty.”

“Great Japanese food. We got there really late, but the host kept the restaurant open with some great recommendations. The food was fantastic! I am sure the atmosphere would match if we hadn't arrived 5 mins before closing so had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Really top Japanese food.”
