Pets at Home Orpington
“I've not been to this shop before. But for all your pet needs, it's worth going to. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I should point out that it is a bit expensive depending on what you are getting. You may also be interested to know, they also have a vet as well.”
Rowlands Pharmacy Orpington
“Like a few others I am surprised when reading the negative reviews. I can only speak of my own personal experiences and respect those who may disagree. I used to use Lloyds Pharmacy in Windsor Drive as I am a lot closer to that than Rowlands. However it got to the stage where I could not bring myself to go into Lloyds as I would have been rude to the staff, so I decided to change to another provider. Lloyds always blamed my Doctors for NOT sending my prescription which meant I always had to battle to get my medicines. Rowlands on the other hand have NEVER blamed my GP for NOT sending my prescription and have always been able to provide each and every tablet/cream/injections, you name it, they get it in. Sometimes I have had to wait a few extra days but this is NOT Rowlands fault as they can only dispense what they have in stock. Most people are unaware there are currently issues getting supplies in and this is not going to end anytime soon. Can you imagine having to stock every kind of medication, the shop would have to be the size of a football pitch, so don't get upset if they don't have what you want. To end this little rant, I can honestly say that I have always found the staff at Rowlands helpful and friendly. I am a person who gives as good as I get and a lot more, but honestly, I've never had a bad experience with them. The staff are there to provide us with a service. If we find they have not got what you want, give them time to explain why and politely ask the questions you have, without losing your temper or being rude. We need to give each other a chance. Just think of those who do not have the services we often take for granted. I feel fortunate to have what we have and thank all those who provide us with these services.”
Pet Perfection - Petts Wood
“Great shop with attentive and helpful staff! Helped us explore our options for our pups diet, and a new leash to help us with all the pulling. Also there's a scale in there you can use free of charge to weigh your dogs!”
Tesco Extra
“Despite being very busy with after-Christmas shoppers the store was fairly well stocked and the staff were friendly and engaging :-)”
Tesco Superstore
“Being a Superstore rather than a Tesco Extra, this store is lacking the extensive homewares and electronics sections of larger outlets, and the small area allocated to clothes is a little underwhelming, but otherwise this is a good sized supermarket offering pretty much everything you need for a regular grocery shop. Staff are helpful, there are plenty of Scan As You Shop devices, a cafe and loads of parking.”
Boots
“Stacey on the Estee lauder counter couldn't have been more helpful today, she went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. She was polite, friendly and smiley. I only went in to smell perfumes and came out with one of the face cream sets. I would recommend going into the boots in nugent centre.”
