“To be hounest when i first used the shop they didnt seem to welcome me and there paypoint never worked i was kinda put off by this, i know paypoints are a zero mark up profit so i guess they didnt like you just using the store for just the zero profit benefits as these are used in shops to attract customers to buy items then top up there elcetric or gas , but as i became a regular due to prices in another nearby shop , after a while all of a sudden there paypoint always worked lol and they became more friendly now i wont vist many other small convenience stores because they are atualy nice people when you get to know them and become a regualar customer - husband and wife run store”

“Nice and local so makes it convenient just off the high street doesn’t always have everything as it’s a smaller store want more variety go to Newbury Park Sainsbury’s but the Barkingside staff are friendly and helpful”

“New Lidl opening soon, most probably by October 2019 to catch the Christmas season. The construction work has been delayed significantly due to the construction firm’s inability to complete on time created enough frustration to the local community. The local residents will now be happy to see this store opening tomorrow Thursday 19th September prior to Christmas 2019. Entrance via main road or through car park.”

“I have been to this pharmacy for years now and I’ll admit that I can see an huge improvement since the last team left. At last the place is clean now, dust free and smell nice. The new team is friendly, fun and take the time to explain what’s happening with Pharmacy and NHS in giving us the proper informations how to obtain our prescriptions on time. I can see that they are struggling but always take the time to give us a smile and I could just come to hear the funny Swiss Man say my name with his lovely accent. Anyway good luck guys we ALL support you. I hope you enjoyed the chocolate I bought You, I know it’s a small gesture but was from my heart. Please mister Swiss man don’t judge our English chocolate.”

“Stocks pretty much all everyday essentials. There's also a pharmacy, vaccination centre, hearing care and an opticians on the 2nd floor - the pharmacy and vaccination service and knowledge is great. Haven't tried the opticians and hearing care so cannot comment on them.”

“Bought 4 baby turtles and I am in love with them. A few different fishes, tanks and toys. Small shop so you might not find everything in stock. Just call in first if you need anything. The great thing is that it’s open 7 days a week. The man was lovely. He was patient with me. I didn’t know a thing about turtles but he explained it perfectly. He sounded like he was having a go at me but you’ll realise that’s just how he speaks. Lovely man really, very honest, straight to the point kind of guy.”

“Took my dog in today for her regular groom, and I can't thank these girls enough. My dog is quite nervous, but the lovely staff always take the time to settle her in. She comes home looking and smelling beatiful, and the girls are great at advising me on how to keep my dogs coat healthy between grooms. Thank you, we wouldn't go anywhere else.”
