“Centre Stage is home from home, it's a place that enriches the lives of children and young adults. I have 2 sons that have been a part of Centre stage from the age of 4, my eldest is now in his late twenties and my youngest has recently turned 16. Centre stage has been an amazing platform for them both, they have developed with confidence not only in the world of Performing Arts, Dance, and music, but knowing who they are and striving to be their better self. I'm proud as a parent to be a part of Centre Stage family, none of this would be possible without the owner Carole Oshea, she has a carefully selected dedicated Team / staff you makes every child feel worthy and able irrespective of race, colour, disability etc. Her Team are an absolute inspiration to our children, their patience and passion for what they do so well is a testament to their commitment. Every child takes front of stage and has an important part to play. I would encourage any child to be a part of such a unique establishment. I'm a parent that has witnessed the talent that has be born from Centre Stage many moving on to Television, Theatre, etc. both in the UK and abroad, I myself have sat in the cinema and watched my son on the big screen. None of this would have been possible without Centre Stage. I would like to thank Centre Stage for the love, kindness and nurturing that so many children have been afforded during the many classes and productions which they have taken part in, our children have received a true blessing and will go on to be positive children of the future. “We have been consistently impressed with the Leanne Edwards School. Our daughter has trialed and is now a regular at a number classes and enjoys every minute. The teachers are great with the children and patient with us adults with all our questions! It's been a difficult year through covid restrictions but the school has kept the children engaged and moving and have always put the childrens safety first as everyone is now back together. We highly recommend.”

“Elevate Arts is a fantastic dance school and all of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My eldest daughter started her dance journey 6 years ago as a quiet child with very little confidence. Now, aged 11, she regularly takes part in outdoor performances with Elevate and recently competed at her 1st street dance competition! My youngest daughter is 4 and has recently completed her 1st term and she also loves her dance lessons every week. Elevate Arts is more than just a dance school, it really is like family. My daughters have created some fantastic friendships at Elevate and everyone, children and parents alike, are really supportive of all of the children, no matter their abilities. I think that fact that my daughter has attended for the last 6years and now wants to train to be a dance teacher herself is testimony to how great Elevate Arts is.”

“My adorable wife and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary in London. My wife is from Vienna and she had the brilliant idea of taking a lesson to finally learn the Viennese Waltz - which we've been butchering for the last 20 years. This would be our first ever dance lesson individually or together. After much searching she found Paul and from the first email exchange we knew we had found the right teacher. When we arrived for our lesson Paul immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable, as if we'd known him all along. As he guided us through our lesson we found that not only was he a gifted dancer, but a gifted teacher and what we learned was far beyond our expectations. It was not just a dance lesson but a deeply moving and emotional experience that reminded us of the deep connection great partners have -not only in dance but in marriage as well. They are a great team of teachers who encourage the best out of all the children. They have been amazing with the communication throughout Covid-19, keeping parents and students up to date with changes and recommendations for all to return safely. I have been confident in the return to studios knowing they are going above and beyond to keep everyone safe and up to date with the every changing regulations and guidelines. Whether you’ve danced before or not, Connor is excellent at teaching the relevant techniques whilst also keeping it light and fun, with some routines in there too. They have great fun, learn important skills like discipline and make their granparents happy by practising their dance move in front of them. End of year shows are a great day out for the whole family. I love how their teacher Michelle can be very nice but firm when they misbehave. Highly recommended as an after school activity”

“The past three years at PPA have been the best of my life. It was my first time living away from home but from the first day all of the staff were welcoming, friendly and caring. Training at PPA has given me so many opportunities to further myself in this career through acting, singing and musicianship and in my life as a person. I learned so much from being a student here, the most important lesson being that you should always be yourself because that is the best part about you. PPA gave me the care and support to find out who I was as a performer and as a person. PPA was a better college than I could ever have hoped for and from being here I have gained a family that I never knew I needed.”

“Fabulous theatre school with a fabulous team Lucy, Craig, Hannah, Sophie just to name a few really go above and beyond to ensure every child has fun and learns. Always opportunities to show of their skills and also to qualify in their chosen arts along the way. I wrote this review 4 years ago after my daughter having been at ATA for almost 4 years. She’s now been there almost 8 years and it is still the most amazing place. She gains so much confidence and skill from her classes and has thrived. She has gained LAMDA and IDTA qualifications in the plenty and is now a Grade 2. Sadly this is her final year due to us moving but she has loved every minute and we wouldn’t be without them. They not only are her teachers but they become an extension of the children’s families and help them not only with drama and musical arts but also support them when life is tough and they just need someone to listen. Thank you all for being the amazing team you are. We will truly miss you all. Xx”

“A bright modern arts space with many rooms to hire for rehearsals. Also, every second week, a team of acupuncturists , from Four Gates Acupuncture attend to provide an affordable acupuncture service to residents and workers in the area.”

“A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.”

“The Pattern Cutting & Professional Sewing Techniques course was great. Paul Simonson is so knowledgable and shared that knowledge in an uncomplicated, easy manner. I learnt a lot in 2 short weeks and Phew. The other staff are great. Nina Hunt in the Short Course unit was so helpful and nice. Maureen in the Sewing department was so helpful and went above and beyond. Great place to study. Will definitely look at doing another course there. Ikwo 2015”

“I went to pole dance and silks lessons. I really like it and it doesn’t matter which level you’re in, everyone can assist. Absolutely love Raffa's silks lesson. Definitely my favourite!”
