Perfect spot to relax in Hounslow

“I love this pub! It's a local boozer and not a tourist trap but if you are a tourist staying in the local area I would recommend dropping in and meeting some locals. I used to live around here and every time I’m back in the area I’ll pop in for a few pints and food. It really has great prices on UK ales, great cask ales and smaller brewery ales too and usually a varied range of them on tap. I’d likely bet they have some of the best prices in London for good drinks. Also note this pub is in the good beer guide and cask marque certified. Food has been very good to excellent and they get it out quickly. Breakfast here is also very good and well priced with pretty much unlimited coffee for only £1.20. I will add the staff have always been very nice and generally attentive. I’ve been coming here off and on since the early ‘90’s when it opened. I totally would recommend this local pub.”

“A lovely playground with play equipment by Wicksteed. There r 2 climbing frames, swings, playhouse, wobbly bridge, roundabout, hill with tunnel, spinner, springer and some activity panels. There is also a green space for running around and picnics. The London Loop passes by this open space. @playgroundadventures”

“Very nice place to came with your kid and spend time in the park when the weather is ok. The park is very big and you can make different activities with you children for 2 year up 10 years all the equipment are very safety. If you want to play with you children in the park this is the place . I recommend this place and I am so happy to give 5 stars”

“What can I say about this lounge… well when compared to other lounges, even in other parts of Heathrow, it’s not that great. It can’t hold a candle to the Cathay or Qantas lounge in T3, It’s a little dated and I wouldn’t say it’s overly luxurious. However the main selling point of this lounge is that it is not a pay to use lounge and the connectivity of the First Wing in general. It’s the best lounge in T5 and it beats any lounge that isn’t ab airline status lounge . Firstly you can only get access if you are BA Gold or OneWorld equivalent (OneWorld Emerald) or you are flying first class. However if you are flying first you get access to the Concorde Room so wouldn’t use this lounge anyway. The access to the lounge is its main selling point as you go to the separate “First Wing” that has its own check in desks and security, and after security you walk down a short corridor and right into the lounge. This is fantastic as it means you come directly into the lounge without a long walk through the general terminal area. The size of the lounge is pretty big but with only a few drink stations positioned apart from the main food and beverage area. Plenty of seats in various configurations and a few work places. Throughout the pandemic, for food and beverage it was order only through barcode and phone, and at the time writing this is still available but there is a small, ever growing buffet coming back. This phone ordering was actually quite good but the selection could vary. Currently the buffet at breakfast has a decent selection of hot English breakfast, as well as fruit, pastries, cereal and other cold items. There are a few juices available and three coffee machines, that can get quite crowded during peak times. The food selection is good but it’s nothing to shout about, however it is recovering and getting better as time goes on. In terms of seating the furniture is quite old and tired but comfortable enough. It would be good if there was more charging points but if you are really desperate you will find one. I enjoy the Concorde terrace at the end of the lounge as it is usually quieter and offers runway views as well as feels much more open. The staff are always hard working and friendly and keep the lounge generally clean. As is the case with any lounge, how busy it gets really really affects the experience. When it’s busy it’s unpleasant but when empty (very very early in the morning) it can be quite nice. The lounge will fill up quite quickly after opening and usually there is a queue waiting to get in. But toilet facilities are however appalling. While located within the lounge, they are quite dated and usually have a queue of people waiting to get in the 6 or so cubicles available. This is just not good enough for a first class lounge. They are individual stalls which is nice and are generally quite clean but in major need of an upgrade and in need of more! All in all the major selling point of this lounge is its position in relation to the terminal and your route from taxi to plane. It very nice to have you’re own private section of the terminal which usually guarantees no check-in and security queues, and a very short walk from there to a comfy chair and coffee in the lounge. The facilities could use a face lift and if they continue improvement on the food section it will be good but all in all, to even be able to use this lounge you have to travel a lot. This means though you might be a discerning customer when it comes to airline lounges, you will use this place frequently and grow to like it a little bit. You will appreciate its layout in relation to the terminal and your travel experience, you will get to know it’s quirks, it’s up and downs and it will become like a mini home from home…”

“One of the best park in Hounslow. It has got a big play area for kids and have its own fitness trail from balanced running to horizontal ladder. Good place for day out with your family. Very quite place compared to other parks around.”

“Georgous desserts and the price is on par with any dessert establishment. This one is the only place in the local are which serves this menu. Staff very warm and friendly. My little one enjoyed her pink cake which was surprising as she hates cake. Spied some breakfast orders and we will be back to try it at some point. A gem in Heston.”

“Great football pitches and changing facilities. Great bar too for after game drinks. This facility offers 3 - 4 grass pitches. Some or them are a little on the slant. Not sure what the price ranges are but always call and ask.”

Cute, quaint and homey laid back joint with a great vibe and very welcoming cosy seats with a great drinks menu. Font forget your Nero rewards stamps! “This is the outlet at the western end of the High Street. It's very spacious and clean, including the toilets, and you're served fast and efficiently. The staff is upbeat and helpful, which makes a welcome change. And the coffees are made very well too. Well done! Keep it this way!!”

Nice selection of food and drink to keep you going if you don't want a full hot meal. Well stocked and re stocked during my time . The lady re stocking and cleaning the tables was the nicest person you could meet working yhe whole time to keep the place clean not something you see all the time . this is a great spot to spend a few hours in peace and quiet and with staff like this will definitely be back next time at heathrow. “Ordered 2 utilmate burgers using the app with drinks. Drinks brought to the table within 2 minutes, food came out 10 minutes after. Food was typical of a Wetherspoons bar and was a least filling. Service was quick and friendly. Prices are a tad expensive but being at the airport you have to expect that. Overall happy and full before our flight.”
