“Was not impressed with my main Nissan dealer in Penge so visited this garage for second opinion regarding repairs deemed 'immediate ' by the main dealer. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They inspected my car, gave me the second opinion I was after for free and made me feel welcomed. Took my car to them for its MOT and an electrical repair. Prices are competitive and fair. Will be using them in future. Special thanks to Steve and his colleagues.”

“Absolutely love this park, beautiful scenic, peaceful as well as busy and loads of things on. Cold water swimming and paddle boarding can be booked online, and is super popular in the summer. Amazing swimming for dogs in the river and some man made mud ponds! Forest and space as well as a wonderful cafe with vegan options! Huge children’s play area, pop up festivals and a second hand clothes sand furniture shop where I’ve jabbed a bargain or two! Parking is expensive but plenty of free nearby - if you don’t mind walking in. Probably my favourite park in London.”

“Great place for all the family. Ducks, geese, and squirrels to feed. Big grass area for picnics or to play on. Lovely cafe in the playground are for food, drinks and ice creams. Been going there for years.”

“We love this venue. It is a beautiful space for parties or weddings if you book enough in advance to get a slot. The rooms have views over the park, the events team are really helpful. The ceilings have stunning wedgewood style designs. There is an air of faded grandeur that we really loved. The team recommend reliable caterers and a lighting business who know how to make the best of the venue. Highly recommended.”

“It was so lovely. Swimming with ducks. Not overly full. Why did the hour go so fast? Just over a fiver (so a couple of coffee's money) for a wonderful experience was so worth it.”

Friendly, happy staff who run a clean and homely place to stay. Walking distance to anything one could possibly need, with Beckenham being one of the more relaxed towns that I visited. “The staff were very lovely, they worked with a smile on their face which was refreshing. The room was clean, bedding towels, bathroom etc. The heater was easy to work and warmed up the room relatively quickly. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which was disappointing.”

“We stayed for one night in December 2010. The house is immaculate, the bedroom spacious and the shared bathroom (ours was the one without an en-suite) luxurious. A lovely, freshly cooked breakfast and a very friendly hostess. Very convenient for London rail links and very upmarket area.”

“Beckenham Upholstery have recently made and fitted voile blinds in my kitchen, a roman blind in my dining room and full length curtains and pelmet in a bedroom. From the first time I met Anthony I felt that nothing was too much trouble. He really could not be more helpful and the finished products are perfect. His fitter is very skilled and all in all, for me, they are the perfect company. I wish that I had discovered them earlier but now that I have, this is the place for me. I will shortly be ordering more blinds and curtains for another bedroom.”
