“Both my daughters have been to Katey's House in Ham - I can't recommend this nursery highly enough. It's such a wonderful place for the little ones to thrive. It's in a lovely setting with access to lots of green space; the kids learn about all sorts of fascinating things and even grow their own food and bake their own bread every Friday. The staff are both professional and warm with the children and give you every confidence in their level of care. The preparation for "big school" is also excellent - with an adorable graduation ceremony and lots of talking to prepare them for the milestone. In short, so much effort goes into making the children feel loved and happy, and both my daughters have thrived there.”

“Searched far and wide to find this place. Excellent, warm and friendly management, lovely, friendly, caring staff, great kids with lots of personality. Baby yoga. Forest walks. 3 playgrounds. My son is very happy here.”

“I can honestly recommend this nursery which my daughter loves. The staff are friendly and professional and you can see they really enjoy what they do. Over the last few months I have noticed developments such as speech (saying more words), confidence and life skills (sharing and social interaction) which I can say the nursery has definately encouraged and supported especially during this challenging Covid-19. The daily menus and updates are so convenient so you are in the loop on what your little one is getting up to!”

“My son really enjoyed his time at Busy Bees. All the staff have been fantastic, especially his key worker. He has learnt a lot and made lots of friends. The outside space is particularly good and used daily. The extra activities they arrange for the children were great - including afternoon discos, sports day, graduation party and the Christmas song show. The staff ensured he was prepared for school and worked a lot on building the children's confidence. Most importantly he had lots of fun!”

“The school is very good but don’t have parking all around the surroundings very old building but maintain properly staff are quite helpful some little issues but that could be anywhere in the world need to be more physical activity for students”

“Green Lawn Montessori is outstanding. The teachers are so friendly and professional and have been so dedicated in helping my daughter settle in making it a really smooth transition. During the pandemic, the staff have shown that the health, safety, comfort and well being of all the children is paramount. I'm very impressed with the measures taken to ensure that staff and students remain safe and healthy. My daughter spent one year at GLM and her confidence and social skills grew no end. She followed the structured learning program and gained a wonderful basic knowledge of math, reading, writing, phonetic alphabet and geography. GLM also encouraged her creative side with singing, dancing, gym, drawing and painting activities. The artwork she brought home on a daily basis has made a wonderful display in our home. Would definitely recommend!”

“I can't speak highly enough about Rachel and her team at Spotlight Dance & Theatre School. My girls have been involved with Spotlight since they were young, attending the Friday classes (with some great presentations at the end of the term to see what the kids have learnt and how they are progressing). My girls are now older and attend the Saturday morning classes and they love them. They thrive on the opportunity to perform and look forward to the Musical performances and can't wait for this year's show (having missed out on live performances during the Pandemic). Their confidence has soared from the encouragement from Rachel and her team and to see them up on stage makes us all proud! Well done Spotlight!”

“Our daughter is sadly about to leave 4 Street to go into reception. She has been there for just over a year, since we moved her from another nursery. I can honestly say that she has loved every minute of it! She settled in straight away, with the help of the amazing, kind and nurturing staff. As parents, we felt reassured that she was being well taken care of and the communication we received was excellent (even during a pandemic). The daily activities are so imaginative and well thought out, the children definitely learn so much and develop lots of skills through play. Another thing that is great is the food. There is a a varied, healthy menu, all homemade on site and my daughter really enjoyed all her meals and snacks! 4 Street have been wonderful at helping the older children have a flawless transition into 'big school'. They have prepared them with all the practical skills they need as well as supported them (and parents) emotionally with the change. Having not had a great experience with the previous nursery, we honestly cannot recommend 4 Street highly enough.”

“My daughter went to Bumblebees from 8 months until she went to school and my son from 9 months and he's still there! We love it! It's such a friendly, homely and family orientated nursery - with a wonderful warm and fun atmosphere. My kids have learnt so much! They're an amazing extension from what we do at home learning manners, sharing, social skills and most importantly they felt safe secure and had a ton of fun every day!!!”

“Our daughter joined Oak Tree in 2020 in the toddler room, and has this year moved up to the pre-school group. The staff at Oak Tree are wonderful; warm, friendly and caring. Our daughter is growing more independent by the day, and the activities help increase her confidence and makes her excited to go to pre-school every morning. The teachers give plenty of feedback to parents and there's always photos of what the children have been up to during the day, which is great fun to see. When possible, local excursions and visits from the police, fire brigade etc are arranged, which my daughter loves! Overall this is a brillaint pre-school, and we're so happy we choose Oak Tree.”

“We are fortunate enough for our daughter to attend Boys and Girls in Rickmansworth and can’t recommend it enough for any local family. At drop-off I always leave reassured that my daughter is in a warm, family-like atmosphere, where she is being well cared for whilst developing. My daughter started when she turned 1 in the Baby room. I have found every member of the Baby room to be really professional and experienced in early childhood development. They have cared so deeply for her and have really take the time to tailor things to her needs to ensure that she was being exposed to things in the best way for her. It was this degree of attention and care that we found to be unique and truly world class in terms of childcare. In the time she has been there she truly has flourished and formed such amazing close bonds with her careers. The facilities are great, they are clean and well planned for the children to get the most out of their time there; the newly developed outside space makes it extra special. As my daughter transitions to the pre-toddler room I have no fear; as I know such a great team will be awaiting to care for her; managed by a fabulous management team.”

“Our son attended nursery here from 14 months old until last month and I can only have words of gratitude for the team. Always very caring with him, keeping us involved, sharing the activities he attended and a detailed journey of his progress. The staff is always approachable and open for conversation. The facilities at both miniMelrose and main Melrose are very clean, tidy and well equipped, and the outdoor space, including the constant use of the local park is just perfect! “My little girl has been attending Little Elms Crofton for 3 months and I couldn’t be happier. I was so nervous when I knew I had to go back to work but the staff teams attention to care has put me at ease. Receiving observations on what she has been up too and a detailed email each week from the management team show the level of care and thought that goes into activities within the room. Overall amazing and I can’t wait to see how she grows and develops while spending time at the nursery!”

“The nursery who made my daughter feel safe and happy! My heart was fulfilled when my daughter used to come home so joyful and with drawings in the bag or all around with glitter. We really liked the staff, such a friendly one. Also thumbs up for the management, first one to not have issues with. Grateful that our daughter could take part of this nursery, changed only because we moved to another area, if we wouldn’t, she would definitely still be there playing with her friends! “Excellent Montessori. I tried quite a few others but found this the best. Good sized facility and genuinely concerned teachers who invest a lot in each child. My child attended for 1 year before we had to leave for overseas, but I was happy throughout with the care and education. The children are taught in a stimulating yet relaxed environment. The teachers are calm and professional. My daughter enjoyed her time there and I highly recommend this institution.”

“Hopes and Dreams has been outstanding for 4y old our son. They helped him build confidence, kindness, skill, joy and a true sense of camaraderie. The space, admin and front line staff are all great and made things easy and fun, both for him and for us. The only problem? Everyone wants in, so try early, and ty again until you get a space. At first we didn't realize it would make such a difference at such a young age, but it definitely has.”
