Chop Suey Centre
● Closed“Outrageously good food! I love Asian / oriental food, and it's so frustratingly hard to find a good, clean chinese takeaway. Was so happy when I found Chop Suey Centre - I went for the chicken and prawn sweet and sour with egg fried rice. Unbelievable!!! You can tell that they use good quality produce, the chicken was incredible, prawns tasted amazing, the sauce was just right. Cannot wait to go again, already recommended this place to many friends!”

Giggling Squid - Maidstone
● Closed“We went here on a Saturday for a birthday meal. What stood out for me was the excellent customer service right from the moment we were at the door. They checked on us frequently making sure we were OK, were very polite and nothing was too much bother. The decor was stunning and made for a lovely atmosphere, as well as giving us some lovely pictures! The food was delicious. I had the som tam papaya salad and the giant butterflied king prawn Pad Thai which was quite unique, and very yummy. My husband had the red curry which was delicious and not too spicy. Other family members had the prawn Pad Thai and massaman curry which they enjoyed. This was my baby's first time trying Thai food and even she loved it- she enjoyed the dumplings and massaman curry from the kids menu! The drinks menu was fabulous, we really enjoyed our mocktails. We had 2 young children including a baby with us and the staff were very accommodating. The kids menu was lovely and impressively had none of the usual rubbish junk food on other restaurants' kids menus. The toilets were clean and hygienic. It was my father in law's birthday and they were kind enough to bring out a slice of cake with a candle and sing happy birthday (without being asked). It was the cherry on top of a perfect evening. We loved it and will be back. One thing to note is that there I don't think there is any step-free access that I could see- the manager helped us carry our baby's buggy in- so it may be an issue for wheelchair users. The closest parking was the Fremlin walk car park.”

Chillies
● Closed“Have had several take-outs from here lately. Food is very good, nice flavours and even well presented. Importantly, meat is reasonable; quality and portions so I don't feel I'm getting a second class meal because it's take away. Online ordering is fast and efficient. Collection is easy with a free carpark nearby. Worthwhile discount for collection too. Restaurant looks nice and we mean to try a "Banqueting Night" soon.”

Premier Inn Paddington Basin
● OpenNorth Wharf Road, London W2 1LF, United Kingdom“New addition to the chain. If you arrive by train into Paddington it is literally under a 10 min walk. The nearest tube is Edgware Road again a very short walk away. Check in was easy but still not entering rooms for housekeeping if you are on a stay of more than a few days. You can request everything and help yourself to tea, coffee etc in reception. They really need to get back in the real world. Staff were all really professional and we loved the breakfast staff, bright and happy to start your day. As will all Premier Inns there is an on site restaurant which is very nice and doubles for breakfast. Room was well presented. Typical London prices at just over £200 per room per night”

Spice Up
● Closed“We ordered two meat thali and one veggie thali for takeaway. They were well packaged and usefully labelled and the food tasted amazing. Particular me to the butter chicken chick peas. The samosas were crunchy and full of filling, and bread light and fluffy. Like other reviews we look forward to trying the full menu, but for tasty home made Indian food at a very reasonable price look no further. 10/10.”

Busaba Kingston Riverside
● Closed“Came here on a Saturday evening, it was super busy but they had us sat down speedily. The service was attentive, fast, and friendly. I would 100% recommend the calamari, up there with the best I’ve had! The jungle curry is supposedly spicy but it was not spicy at all, and if you’re Bengali, it tastes like a traditional Bengali chicken curry with less spice!”

Tai Brockley
● Closed106 Foxberry Road, London SE4 2SH, United Kingdom“Had a lovely meal here with my friend with the hardest working waitress we've ever met! She was super friendly and didn't see her stop moving all night, seemed to be hundreds of takeaway orders leaving the restaurant all night which shows its popular. However we were able to get a quiet table in the corner to catch-up. Would definitely come here again.”
