“One of the Nice Pub I have encountered in a while, Staff is Polite and their service is also fast on Regular Day but if you will come here at Sunday there's always a rush and 1 hour waiting time on food which is mind blowing but I can understand when it's a rush it's a rush otherwise their service is fast”

“I came to Takumi restaurant with friends recently and I have to say this restaurant is deinitely an upmarket version of an Izakaya in Japan, and although Izakayas are usually cheaper in Japan where you can order finger food such skewers, small bites and drink beer, you can definitely get the experience here as well as order mains but in a more classy atmosphere. The small dishes we ordered are really delicious, and the mains hit the spot not being too much or too little, and the sushi that we ordered last was full of flavour that I admit one of the pieces did taste like I was in Japan, and I have been to Japan a few times. Delicious food that is worth trying, maybe a little bit on the expensive side, but definitely enjoyed it.”

The staff is extremely friendly (shoutout to William and Jonathan) and have readily assisted me in several occasions. The facilities at the accomodation are top notch and the resident community is quite tight knit. One of the best student accomodations in London and would definitely recommend to anyone attending university in Central and East London.”

“I’ve been lucky enough to go to Eleana’s a few times now - and every time has been outstanding. Delicious dinners, beautiful brunches, cracking cocktails. Slow-cooked lamb; dripping with flavour. Perfectly poached eggs; oozing with yolk. Fabulous French Toast; exploding with flavour and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. The decor is subtle and classy. The owners kind and attentive. The food tasty and from the heart. Give it a go if you’re in the area; you won’t be disappointed.”

“One of the best Greek food restaurants in the area. I had dinner with a couple of friends and we really enjoyed our time there. The food was amazing, the waitress very professional and always with a smile and the environment was very friendly and it felt like I was really in Greece having dinner next to the sea. I 100% recommend it to whoever is in the area to try it out. PS. The drinks were amazing. Please try them out. You will not be disappointed.”

“Myself and my partner had a belated romantic getaway to this unique hotel and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is stunning inside and like being inside one of the finest Georgian houses of 19th century London. It is sparkling and spotless but also beautifully warm and cosy too. We were made to feel so at home and welcome. We arrived early and the lovely staff on reception took our bags and gave us a choice of 3 luxurious lounges to choose from while our room was finished. We had a delightful private lounge area next to our bedroom (Odabiah Shuttleworth was the quirky room name). ALL of the staff seem genuinely happy and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We ate out for lunch and just had M&S nibbles in our room for the evening and although there’s no restaurant the room service menu looked lovely. The (hot) breakfast tray in our room the next morning (can also have in one of the lounges) had such attention to detail and was another, of the many highlights. An experience to remember and we’re now thinking of checking out the other hotels by the same group.”

“One of their nicest locations - very kind and helpful staff and great food. Came over on Friday night and managed to get a table for 4! The food was really nice, as usual and the staff was really helpful and nice. The decor in this place is just spectacular and really makes it an upscaled venue. You can even catch jazz performances on Some evenings!”

“Dinner was amazing! We got here around 9pm on a Tuesday night and the wait was over an hour. A little surprised by that but the time went by pretty quick. They brought out some lemonade while we were waiting which was nice. Food itself was great and the atmosphere is amazing as well.”

“Went here for a belated Valentine’s Day lunch. It was amazing. The location is really nice, and easy to find. The vibe of the restaurant is perfect, intimate, cool decor, perfect playlist. The food was amazing, we had; Crab salad, veal pasta, crispy lamb, rostis, potatoes, cabbage, prawn toast. It was all delicious. It’s hard to pick a winner, my fave was the prawn toast, my partner loved her lamb and veal pasta. The rum and coke old fashioned was tasty. The service was excellent, always someone on hand to help you out, take an order, check if you’re alright. I’ll definitely be coming back again. My expectations were very high due to reviews about it and it exceeded them all.”

“I was supporting a lady with a disability who wanted to try Tortilla for the first time and everything went well till we got ready to pay and found out this place doesn't take cash. My client was obviously upset and disappointed, as not being able to pay by cash takes away from her independence and the activities she enjoys doing on occasion like eating out. The staff was very gracious about the situation and offered to help out so in the end she was still able to have her meal. She did enjoy her naked burrito very much and she said she hopes to find another Tortilla who will take cash in the future.”

“It is always great when expectations are exceeded. We thought this would be a ‘pretty good’ cheap bite out. It was better than that. Much better. The chicken skewers were fantastic and the aubergine and grilled halloumi bowl wanted for nothing and the dips selection was well put together. Three of us ate with a bottle of red for £65. Will definitely be going back.”
