“Absolutely outstanding customer service. Went to them to map my Rally Subaru Impreza WRX ahead of an event this weekend and there were issues with the new turbo that had been fitted. Both Neil and his team mate, worked from 12 when the issue was found, until 8 pm that evening without a break. They loaned me a replacement turbo, replaced the turbo and remapped the car again so that i could make the event this weekend. I expected that come 5:30 or 6pm latest that they would have shut the shop and asked me to come back the next day...I was totally taken aback at their dedication to getting it in shape so i could race it. I have used them on 3 seperate occassions over a 15 year period and i would highly recommend them as a business and will without doubt use them again. Straight talkers, professional, clean and tidy workshop. Cannot recommend enough.”

“Russel and Nick are excellent. Best mechanic I've had in a long time. I take both my Golf and A6 there and have done for about 5 years. They really know what they are doing and they recommend what really needs doing and what can wait. They never 'create work' and they minimise time, and therefore cost, on services. I wish all mechanics were as trust worthy as these guys. Plus they are nice guys, never grumpy like some mechanics.”

“Always quick and efficient. If you get a flat tyre along Ash Road like I did last night and you live locally do not call the AA as they are as much use as a chocolate teapot. Instead take your car round to Ash Tyres leave it there, walk home and go back in the morning and they will sort you out. Far less stressful. Wouldn't go anywhere else for tyres.”

Perfetto Pizza crafts beautiful examples of all Italian cuisine. All is served in a humble, bohemian beach house that is bright and modernly decorated. Service is fast, attentive and helpful. It looked just a little bit tired and like a local pub. Should have realised that this just meant it hadn't been turned into a sterile gastropub chain... Because I had the steak. On a hot stone. It was amazing! I love nowhere near... But genuinely if I was anywhere even close I'd go back just to eat that again!!! Service was great and the marquee although temperature went up and down a bit stayed warm enough to keep us comfortable. That steak............”

“As an experienced diner who regularly eats at Al la Carte restaurants every Saturday evening I was lucky to come across Giacomos when searching for somewhere different to try. Crisp white linen table cloths were greatly appreciated as so many restaurants think it is trendy to eat from formica tables despite claiming to be high end. Since our first visit during which we could not fault a single thing we immediately booked to come back within the next two weeks. The staff are friendly and attentive, but not intrusive, and the food is good quality beautifully cooked. At the time there was a small party celebrating a birthday who were all enjoying themselves and from an onlooker received excellent service throughout right down to the end of their meal when they were served champagne. This week we discussed how lovely the lighting is, not too bright but a warm glow. I have eaten every variety of meat they have on the menu. The liver, veal. steak and lamb were all cooked to perfection. It is also nice to see people made an effort in the way they dressed which not only showed respect for the restaurant but for other diners. Who wants to see workman's jeans when you have dressed suitably for a lovely evening meal in stylish surroundings, keep them for the burger bar. .”
