Onebody Clinic
“Had debilitating lower back pain for a couple of weeks to the point where I couldn’t lift my baby or stand for more than a few minutes without having to lie down due to pain. I saw Jamie and after the first appointment with her I noticed an immediate improvement. A couple more sessions later I was back to normal. Very professional, knowledgable and highly recommended.”
The Uptown Dog
“I cannot recommend Lucia and The Uptown Dog enough. We've been taking our Cavapoo, Dexter, here ever since he was a puppy and we couldn't imagine going anywhere else. Dexter is always so excited to see Lucia and he comes back looking and smelling incredible every time. Not only is Lucia a brilliant groomer, she clearly loves all of her dogs (and they love her!), and takes her time to get to know them, their needs and make them feel comfortable in the salon.”

Amwell Veterinary Practice
“Margaret and Dale are an incredible team. Our Romanian rescue dog Dylan unfortunately has behavioural issues, including territorial and fear reactivity in certain very specific circumstances. He has recently decided he doesn't like the vet and hates being injected even more - which has caused us a lot of stress and anxiety because he needs to be vaccinated to go to day care, which he loves, and we've had instances where he's ideally needed to go to emergency vets out of hours and they've been unable to inject him as needed. Dale and Margaret have been so kind, thoughtful and patient with us and Dylan. After four failed attempts and a lot of muzzle training, we finally cracked it today and we are so relieved and thrilled. They never give up on us - as challenging as Dylan can be - and we are so grateful as we continue to work to make Dylan's life as calm and as rewarding as possible, in light of his difficult start. Dale and Margaret's constant help and guidance is so helpful in that. We would recommend Amwell Vets to anyone!”

Talacre Community Sports Centre
“Have used the soft play with my nephew a couple of times . I have say that the gentleman who was on the reception desk was so kind. He saw that I was heavily pregnant and bought me out a chair to sit whilst my nephew played. The chairs had been removed due to Covid but he made an exception. It was such a kind gesture and can’t thank him enough.”
The Northwood Club, Darwin Wellness
“Been a member here for a couple of months now. Pound for pound it's the best gym in the area, especially when you consider the ridiculous prices David Lloyd Northwood are charging. The gym is usually not too crowded, maybe slightly so at peak times but that's to be expected. Good range of weights and machines, and also other functional areas. I don't make full use of all the facilities but for what I need it for, it's very good and so far very welcoming. There is a wide range of people of all ages and fitness levels which is also good to see.”
Woodlands Pet Care
“My 2 year old lab is a regular boarder at Woodlands at least 3-4 times a year all in verying degrees of length. She recognises the staff and location as soon as we approach and the tail starts wagging. I can go away with no worries knowing she is well looked after in a safe and secure envirnoment and comes home smelling wonderful after her bath. Thank you woodlands for all you do.”

WLC does offer antique shows and markets at times—lots to offer. Great place to have a quick lunch with kids at the cafe.”
Longevity Clinic Monument
“Last year I was in such pain with osteoarthritis in both knees as a result of playing squash and badminton for my whole adult life, that I asked a specialist surgeon to operate and replace both knees. The surgeon said they were not bad enough to operate on and that I should take tablets to relieve the pain. I was taking 600mg of Ibuprofen every time I went out for the day. Desperate for a solution to the pain I started seeing Davy who prescribed acupuncture and herbal medicine as I was also perspiring profusely at night for no apparent reason. Davy was confident that, while not able to cure the osteoarthritis, he could help me manage the pain. Acupuncture by a professional like Davy was the help I needed to undo the years of punishment I put my knees through. I have not taken Ibuprofen for pain for the past eleven months. I don’t have any pain anywhere now and only have slight pain when I walk, sit or stand for long periods. One thing I have learnt it that you have to persist. You can’t expect the treatment to work after only a few sessions. I now see Davy every two to three weeks just to maintain the good work he did.”
The Child Development Centre
“My son attended the Child Development Centre after we had exhausted all other avenues through the NHS and essentially got nowhere. I am not disparaging the NHS, I think they are marvellous but they do not have the time or resources to fully help our children the way they need help in these circumstances. We had the Centre recommended to us and it has really changed our lives. The relief that someone was finally making sense of our son's behaviour and difficulties that he was having was immense. He would jump and scream at unexpected noises, he would hate any labels in clothes, he would zoom around the house causing mayhem (not deliberately, quite the opposite he was very happy), but we did fear he had ADHD. He was like Tigger from Winnie the Poo, bouncing around everywhere! His concentration was very poor, he was very silly and immature for his age, he wasn't able to sit and watch a DVD, read a book or play with one toy or game for any period of time, he would get bored very easily and be off to play with another toy or game. From a very young age he would have obsessions - firstly the Fire Service and he would not anywhere unless in a full fireman's uniform with a utility belt, he was 4 yrs old at this stage and then it changed to the Police (5yrs old) and then the Army (8yrs old) with each obsession taking over all of our lives in one way or another. One fact we did find interesting was that Dyspraxia often gets misdiagnosed as ADHD. He was diagnosed as having Dyspraxia traits and audio dyslexia. We received a very detailed report which made so much sense in terms of why he was behaving the way he was, but more importantly we started the programme that would definitely change all of our lives for the better. The programme is not a quick fix solution. You need to be dedicated and understand there will be times when it is frustrating and it seems you are making no progress then other times when it accelerate and the changes are amazing. Most people comment that he is like a different boy now and he really is. Once we were able to get rid of the reflexes he had retained the changes became really noticeable. He is so much calmer now, he can concentrate - he reads so many books now which we are delighted at! The screaming when he's startled has stopped and he's even more tolerant to labels! In the beginning we did the on-line checklist on the website and ticked far too many! However, I would highly recommend doing this as it give you a really good idea on whether there is a problem there that needs solving. My husband and I had the conversation about the cost of the treatment and I remember him saying 'this could be the best money we've ever spent' and he was absolutely right, it was. I would highly recommend going for an initial assessment to find out all about it. We originally met David and then Alex continued all of the appointments and treatments with our son. He is excellent with children, very professional with a firm but easy-going manner. If you decide to do it, follow all of the instructions, they really do know what they are talking about and you will get better results by following them to the letter. The programmes are medication free which I loved, this is a totally natural way to help your child be the best they can be!”
