“Had a really lovely lunch here yesterday, the new fit out is beautifully done, with a lovely Bar & Garden area, along with a nice relaxed dining area. The new menu is delicious we had a quick lunch with my friend having the Fish Finger Sandwich & I had a perfectly cooked Wagyu Bavette. Wishing the new team all the best for their new opening & I am sure it will be a success.”

“Really really really nice chicken and rib combo. Had the garlic and her dough balls to start also and they were nice. Was disappointed with the apple crumble as there wasn't much apple, and the crumble was a bit well done. Lovely outdoor seating area at both front and back. Little booth/huts which have heaters and plastic zip down covers also. Will definitely return! Had the same main meal again today and still great! Service was a bit slow but was quite busy.”

“My wife and I regularly come here and have got to know the managment and staff. The atmosphere is welcoming the staff are professional and the food is delicious. The chefs know their craft and it shows. A good restraunt for gluten Free diets as they have an entire menu dedicated to it. Special mention to the manager Aleksandra who always makes us feel welcome when we visit.”

My skin looked and felt lovely afterwards. There was a slight mix up on my part when we were trying to book a date for the appointment but she was very helpful at sorting it out. “Just finished our two pizzas and they were absolutely delicious. I lived in Sicily for 17 years and this is the most authentic pizza I have had in the UK. The Italian sausage was amazing. “We booked a meal for 40 of us after getting married in Leatherhead earlier that day. We could not have had a better time or service from the team at the Penny Black - the communication with the manager ahead of time was helpful and quick, we were able to drop cakes and decorations etc off in the morning and the pre-ordered drinks were ready for our arrival. The team on that day were friendly and available for whatever we needed. HUGE thank you to the kitchen team who managed to get out 40 pre-ordered meals at the same time and all hot. This is not just your average pub - 5* 10/10 recommendation. The manager on shift that day said they didn't really do bigger groups or weddings that often but if you are reading this and looking to book a party or bigger group event in Leatherhead - Penny Black is where you need to go.”
