“Had a wonderful dinner at Giggling Squid - Hornchurch. The decor was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the service was great. We visited on a Monday night and the restaurant was buzzing. We had the sharing platter for starters with prawn crackers, and the Thai melting beef, jungle curry and stir fry veg for our mains. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and will be returning soon.”

“The Drill opened its doors again today and I just popped over for a couple of drinks and a meal, both of which were excellent! I can't wait to sample the whole menu in the future. The new and old staff were super friendly and the manager Wayne was very welcoming and was clearly running a well oiled machine. Their social distancing measures seemed to be working well and it felt like a safe environment to relax in. Being a pub garden fan though I was most impressed with their refurbished garden - outstanding! See you again soon!”

“Came here as saw it on Instagram that they're were taking up residency in the Garrison in Chelmsford. This was the BEST meal me and my boyfriend have had in a long time. We got the sharer platter which was a great price for all the food you got and a chance to try lots of different nuggets. Everything was exceptional! The owner was really friendly and even gave us a 10% discount card! Would 100% recommend and will be visiting frequently!”

“I booked Shelley's for Fathers Day and was really pleased I did! I loved the new décor, especially the 'flower wall' and the beautiful mirrored pictures. The food was delicious and considering Shelley (the owner) was one man down (one of the chefs) on a busy day the service was impeccable. I ordered the chicken wings starters and lamb shank for main. All the food was piping hot and the lamb shank was so tender, it was falling off the bone. The side dishes was fairly generous! No request was too big for the waitress staff either. The restaurant was playing some fab tunes in the background, not too low and not too loud and there was plenty of room between tables, no over crowding and it was nice to walk outside if you needed some fresh air or a cigarette. I cannot wait to go back and try the pork belly and have a dessert this time (if I am not too full!) Thanks again for making Fathers day a hit for my dad and my boyfriend. Laura”

“We celebrated my friend daughter's birthday there. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and always smiling. The food is amazing!!! We ate pizzas and pork belly with chips, carrots, and sweet spicy jam. It was very tasty! The atmosphere there is very nice, interior is simple and at the same time very unique and modern. Highly recommended!”

“Had dinner with family on Sunday. Was served by a lovely young lady who’s name I didn’t catch but she glasses in and her hair up. She was so friendly and helpful. The food was served fast and was delicious. Will definitely be returning.”

“Gorgeous, freshly made sushi. The sushi rice had a perfect consistency and the seafood toppings were quality. We also went for a tuna poke that was super fresh, varied and flavoursome. Good portion sizes and that saying "you pay for what you get" certainly rings true here. Top that all off with a very friendly (and competent) sushi chef. A most welcome addition to Hornchurch. Best of luck! UPDATE 14 Feb: just tried the chicken ramen. Stunning! Rich, gorgeous broth - one of the best I've ever had and rammed full of chicken, vegetable and noodles.”

“There’s something about the garlic bread at Prezzo that makes you go wild. The combination of melted cheese, fragrant garlic and crispy bread is impossible to resist and is the best way to start off a meal. The Tre Gusti Pizza was delicious too, but I’m not sure it could beat the garlic bread!”

“We were welcomed by James at the entrance who had explained everything to us. As i was super nervous he reassured us its nothing too scary! He was extremely professional and he played his character so well. As for the experience. It was something unforgettable. As i am a huge fan of stranger things it was almost surreal to experience what they do in the series! “Absolutely fabulous food. Takeaway was done within 10min. Food tastes lovely, great staff and clean premises. Small but very inviting place. And that someone moaned 20min is not acceptable? I don't find it that bad. Some posh places in London will make you wait that long. That's why my friend, you order drinks in a meantime and wait. Let's be glad, Elm Park has such good place.”

“We have been to this restaurant twice now and each time the service and friendly staff led by Sybil was fantastic. The team and Sybil are very attentive and the food is beautiful. The restaurant is clean very spacious and has beautiful decor . The prices are extremely competitive to other Turkish restaurants we have been too in Hornchurch. We live in Emerson park and this restaurant is very convenient to walk to. It surly is making an impact in Hornchurch as the restaurant was busy today . It is child friendly and there are disabled access and a disabled toilet . We sat outside and it was very hot sunshine but the canopies made good shade and comfortable seating. In fact we have booked again with Sybil today for the bank holiday weekend to go back as it is my wife’s birthday . We highly recommend this super restaurant. Thank you Sybil and team Ian & sharon”

“I visited it recently with a group of people on a Friday evening. We had a great tasty meal. All the food served was fabulous. The service was great. The staff were very efficient and the singer was a great addition to the evening. This restaurant has a good choice on the menu which is great value for money. Would I eat there again?My answer would be a YES!”

“What's not to love - excellent food at a great price!! I've eaten in and taken away at frencho's and have been thoroughly impressed both times. There's a noticeable difference when food is made with care, and the service is also top notch. Will definitely be recommending this place and suspect it will become a regular destination! “Just enjoyed a lovely lunch at Onyx. Fabulous food and excellent service. Highly recommend the scallop starter and the pork cheek pasta and mussels, they also have delicious side dishes particularly the mushrooms, zucchini and spinach. Great choice of food and drink and our waiter whose name I didn’t catch but think he said K or Kai couldn’t do enough for us. Friendly, courteous and polite, I have nothing negative to say. “I visited The Good Intent pub today for lunch with a friend, we was greeted at the bar by a very friendly young lady, who told us that we could take a seat where we wanted and to order at the bar. We grabbed some drinks while there and found a nice table at the top of the restaurant. We order our food and it arrived within 20 mins food was hot and tasted amazing. We have decided that we would 100% add this to our list of places to come in future. 5 stars from the both of us.”

“Lovely kebabs and really nice Pizzas, and its also the things like using paper bags for chips and nuggets instead of polystyrene that makes us use this place, my kids won't eat nuggets if they've been in polystyrene because they're always soggy! I don't know how other take aways don't realise some foods are just ruined unless they put them in paper or cardboard”
