“Lovely dinner at Bacco Ristorante Italiano after an afternoon in Richmond. A small menu that is well executed. The bruschetta with burrata, risotto with asparagus and prawns, and tagliatelle with black truffle were all excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of Italian wines. Large outdoor seating area under large umbrellas. Definitely will return and would definitely recommend.”

“This is a lovely pub with a friendly and helpful landlord! It's near both bus and train station, in Kingston! Had a great pint of Irish real ale! We also had a really good meal, a mixed grill, which was also a good price and filled us up, we will b going back!!”

“We’ve lived in Richmond a long time and seen this pub under many different types of management. It has finally made it back into our must stop for a pint list. I’m a pub manager by trade so am enormously fussy about how clean the beer lines are, this pub is spot on. The staff only make it better. Thank you Jake for an enjoyable afternoon! Good products, great service, clean lines. What more could you want! I will definitely be coming back.”

“I really love their pizza and have been a regular customer since they opened the shop. The staff are nice and my order has always come to me quickly and was hot and fresh. The ingredients are high quality and delicious. I’ve told friends about it but thought I should write a review to let folks know. In Richmond they’re my go to for a nice night in. Update: I ordered again this evening and I messed up my order on a Deliveroo. I gave them a call and they looked after it without any issue. Really great service. Thanks guys!”

“Really delicious food. I ordered on deliveries and wish it had stated what condiments came with it. I chose this place because the photos looked like it would be delivered without plastic. Wasabi/ginger came with the sushi and was put on the cardboard box without plastic but I ordered extra as I didn't know if it came with it and sadly these bits came in plastic. However, they clearly care and are doing an amazing job at reducing plastic. The food was mega!”

“I took my partner here for afternoon tea on his birthday. We had an excellent time. The staff - Roxanne and Chris - went out of their way to welcome us and to make the experience feel special. The afternoon tea itself was fantastic with beautiful freshly prepared sandwiches and fresh warm scones (baked in-house). Highly recommend for dinner, lunch or a special occasion - we’ll be back soon!”

“Highly recommend! We booked lunch for my mum's 60th birthday recently, the staff were so attentive & even played along with a surprise we had planned (one of my brothers has been living in Mexico and came home for the birthday, the FB team dressed him in staff uniform & had him serve our drinks - I'm not sure if she's forgiven us.) The food, house wine & cocktails were all delicious! Our photos don't do it justice, but there were clean plates all round. Big thank you to TFB team!”

“I am a fan of Pizza Express and recently visited this branch for a quick dinner. The staff were accommodating with my booking. One staff member named Nat was so friendly & patient as they explained how I could use the Pizza Express app and claim rewards - please pass on our thanks! Also noted how clean the restaurant was, it was practically spotless! As always, food was delicious! Certainly recommend the Romana pizzas. “Was knackered after a stroll in Richmond Park. Reached there at around 2pm on a Monday afternoon. Very nice food and pint. Warm and cosy vibe. Heard that it gets very busy in the evenings and weekends, take note if you’re heading there during these times.”

“This place is amazing and found by luck. I was trying to remember the name of another restaurant I had ordered from nearby and just by chance this place made my Parents anniversary a good one. The staff were very helpful kind the food was delicious and we got our meal within 15 mins, we were close to their closing time and the staff were still happy to seat us. “Hands down one of the best places I’ve been to eat out in Europe. The interior was really cozy and welcoming. The FOOD was ridiculously delicious. 100% recommend the lamb and pig head. Staff are just delightful. You can even speak to the chefs while they prepare your food right in front of you! A must do if you come past Hackney.”

“Excellent pub, from Sunday roast to drinks to customer service. We had a Sunday roast that was delicious, even the vegetarian one. We ordered a Bloody Mary and was really well done. The staff is responsive, nice and friendly. Raff can speak a little bit of many languages and Lawrence is the man you want when you are organising something. We are going to have our wedding party there with their amazing premises. Looking forward to live it. Definitely recommended.”

“We got married on the 02 September and couldn't recommend The Duke's Head more as a venue! The night before my wedding, when I was dropping off the decorations and the cake..etc. I met with Dorian and he was just fantastic. He was patient and took the time to listen to me and what I needed. He made me feel comfortable and reassured me that everything would be done and ready for the following day, which is priceless when you're at your most stressed. The only thing that The Dukes Head could have done better would have been if Dorian had been our point of contact through out the lead up as his one night outshone any other communication prior. The night of our wedding was a blast, the entire team were just amazing! Quinton, the manager, was on top of everything and made our evening one to remember. The staff were very attentive and remained friendly and willing to help all evening. They ensured that we always had a drink and were prompt with the food, which was very tasty! The highlight of their amazing service was the communication with myself and my wife. They checked times with us and were flexible if anything changed, such as speeches. The turn around from the sit down to dance floor was very quick, which was then followed by a fantastic evening buffet! The Coxwain room is so beautifully decorated it really didn't need much more, however with the original decor, everything we added and the extraordinary view out the windows both us and our guests were blown away.”

“Just undergone a complete refurb. Warm and inviting retaining its traditional pub feel. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a sandwich and chips which were well prepared and surprisingly filling. A nice stoping place when passing through or shopping. I'm sure we'll be back when next in Richmond. Well done”
