Journee
● Open115 Coventry Road, London E2 6GG, United Kingdom“One word: Incredible! You must give them a go. I'm sure you'll be just as surprised and thrilled as we were! I discovered Journee on Instagram and was drawn in by the Postcard Reveals from other people and their Insta stories in beautiful destinations. I knew I wanted to surprise my fiancé for his birthday, as he had treated and surprised me for our engagement, so what better way than to try something completely different and out of our comfort zones. From the first email exchange to landing back in London after our mystery trip, Sophie and her team were so efficient and so organised! Nearly everything was planned and booked for us. The flights, accommodation, transfer and activities. Journee write up a proposal (holiday itinerary) that they think you’ll love, which you can amend if you want and they even send you a link that takes you to your customised Journee Passport with organised tabs including: a count down until you leave, flight details, travel requirements, the latest weather in your mystery country, what to pack and documents needed etc. I mean what an amazing idea to not only have everything in one place, but everything done and organized for you! You needn't do anything, just sit back and wait for you mystery trip. You can choose what kind of schedule, slow or fast paced or in-between. I chose in-between, the perfect balance. We could choose where to eat and still make it to the extraordinary tours and sites that Journee chose for us. After I'd filled in a quick questionnaire on their site and exchanged emails to find the perfect mystery trip, Sophie had planned an amazing proposal for me. Some of the things I'd never have thought of, like a wonderful relaxing, romantic spa experience and a home cooked four course meal by a local chef, María in her own house! I was actually rather nervous at first about the idea of not knowing where we would be going, but Journee were ever so reassuring and encouraging. They were always fast with replies to any questions I had (without revealing the location of course) and sent clues every week. Our accommodation was more residential than a commercial hotel, in a perfect location, quiet, yet right in the town centre. They had booked us a comfortable room with a living area that had a pull back ceiling to reveal the stars! What a wonderful surprise! I'd never have known a room to exist like it. Without spoiling it too much, Journee took us to Seville and Cordoba, two cities we wouldn't have thought to travel to and we fell in love with the culture, history, architecture, food and locals. Our home cooked dinner at Seville’s local resident, María Elena Del Torno Miguel’s home was such a delight! I honestly would never have thought, let alone known how to find a trustworthy chef to cook and entertain us in their home. She was so welcoming and friendly. María had made her dining room into a dimly lit, romantic setting for us. She told us a bit about herself and her family, while leaving us with Spanish music as she brought in delicious smelling home cooked traditional family recipes. We exchanged culture talks and invited her to cheers or should I say ‘Salud!’ She taught us a longer version, but I’ll leave that a secret. She has a beautiful home, which was all decorated for Christmas and we were fortunate enough to have our photo with her to keep the memories! So from a warm welcome, to great hospitality and tasty food and drinks, we also gained a new friend :). What a trip! Journee were right, we didn't want to leave and I already want to do it all over again! I would definitely recommend Journee to anyone looking for an adventure. We will definitely arrange another mystery trip with them again in the future. We have told all our friends and family who were uncertain at the idea at first, as most people want to know where they are going, but hearing about what a fantastically organised mystery holiday we had thanks to Journee, they are interested in the idea!”

Vita Health Group - Mottingham
● Open“Great company, friendly staff all around. I was referred to John Lyness after a car crash and at first was worried as I am a very awkward anxiety riddled young lady. But John made me feel so comfortable, he is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. He'd talk to me like we'd been friends for years and made me laugh when times were tough. He's got me back to my normal fighting fit self. I owe him a lot. Thank you.”

St Pauls C Of E Primary School
● Open“A very good, friendly ,warm, inclusive school with Christian ethos at its core. Teaching staff is professional, any issues are dealt with very well. I had to move my daughter from a different school and it was the best decision I've made. My daughter is excelling academically and is starting to gain her confidence back after a horrific experience at her first school. Teachers are approachable and genuinely care about children and their wellbeing. It doesn't feel like a "factory" as it's a small and very friendly school. I would definitely recommend this school.”

Byway
● Open“Byway were fantastic! They tailored our holiday to our budget and priority, and through WhatsApp were with us every step of the way. On our return journey, Paris Gare Du Nord had completely shut-down, no trains. While everyone was upset and panicking, ByWay were with us contacting EuroStar, SNCF and hotels. They managed to book a last-minute hotel room, which luckily we didnt need as we managed to get the last train home - and they covered the cost!! ByWay were very honest about what they knew and didnt know about areas of interest. We usually organise our own holidays, so it was strange to put our trust in someone else. However ByWay totally earned that trust and more some. I would definitely recommend them and use them again!”

Clifton Lodge Preparatory School & Nursery
● Open“Speaking as a parent and having seen the difference in my son since he joined Clifton Lodge, I can only say how impressed I am with the progress and growth in confidence in him in these last two years. From a boy who's only response to "how was your day?" was "fine" to what can only be described as a confident and well-spoken daily account of every lesson and event that day is still something that is a highlight of my day. Family and friends have all remarked on how well-rounded he has become and how well he has progressed in the last couple of years and this is due to the amazing teachers and staff who work at this school.”
