I didn't leave room for dessert, as the food , as well being scrumptious , was deceptively filling ... Not to mention friendly and welcoming staff... “A quick dinner turned into a lovely surprise. We sat down at this Turkish restaurant, expecting standard quality food. To our big surprise the food was above the average for this kind of venue. The interior is grand and wonderful, something that doesn’t always translate to great tasting food. Not at Deraliye. The food was superb. Adana kebab, lamb shish, calamari, hummus and all the rest of our food was very delicious. I have 2 suggestions to the management, though. Less potatoes in the octopus salad and add Künefe to the dessert menu. I was very happy with this gem of a Turkish restaurant. Noted down in my “to be repeated” list. Obviously, highly recommended.”

“Came here for my sons Birthday to treat him. Had a lovely meal. As someone who does not normally have a meal in a Turkish restaurant, I was a bit wary on what to have. I asked lots of questions about the menu and the waiter was really helpful. I'm glad I did as I had a great meal. Be careful don't have too big a starter as the main meal was plentiful. Now I will be eating at my local Turkish restaurant on Canvey.”

“GREAT vegan and gluten free options. They made a vegetable based ravioli that was truly delicious, the chef had clearly put a lot of attention into it. For gluten eaters - the homemade pasta was truly delicious in every dish we ordered. Wine - great, you can tell it's what they do. It's pricier than your neighbourhood italian: count 30 pp for main and wine. However, for the quality (gastronomic) its great value.”

“Recently visited this place and my overall experience were positive. Great atmosphere and helpful staff. I ordered Caprese do Bufala (creamy mozzarella with tomato and pesto), Bronzino al Forno (sea bass) and Chocolate dessert. This had a real nice flavour profile. Dessert was amazing. “We thoroughly enjoyed our Botanical Afternoon Tea with bottomless bubbles here last week. Lanes has a perfect location being just a couple of minutes walk from Marble Arch tube station and across the road from Hyde Park (lovely for walking off their generous afternoon tea!) Service from all of the staff was exceptional. Tea menu is extensive, even for the pickiest of tea connoisseurs. Sandwiches were fresh and inventive, we especially loved the use of the specialty breads which made them a little more special than your average afternoon tea offering. Scones were some of the best we’ve ever tasted and the cakes were delicate morsels from heaven. All in all, a wonderful experience where you’re made to feel very special by the fantastic staff.
