“Very accommodating for a party of 5 including a toddler and a baby. The staff were very friendly. The food was delicious and all tasted fresh. I ordered the Grant Close which came with 2 American style pancakes with fruit, cream and maple syrup on top, on the side there was avocado, halloumi, spinach and American style scrambled egg. I had curly fries on the side which were really nice too. My cappuccino was nice and creamy too but if you are a big coffee fan you might prefer a different place for your caffeine fix in the area. I'd highly recommend coming here, the best cafe in the area.”

“The pictures really don't do it justice. I thought I had had "good Italian food" before but this is a different league. "Pineapple juice" never looked this glorious before, very fresh. That octopus! Wow, great texture, a satisfying bite but not at all rubbery, somehow with an almost charred flavour. Then that mash, with flavours something like garlic? Apple? I don't know and I'm not sure I want to know how the magic is done. Why spoil enjoyable mysteries? The risotto main is stunning, what a showpiece, also delicious. Took my time to enjoy it both visually and to dig out and eat the meats. All the flavours balanced. So light tasting, but so filling. (I am a little bit in love with that fish plate). ...but for desert somehow my stomach found space. Pear and ricotta cheesecake, maybe some subtle spice in there? Again wonderful textures, melting but also with an enjoyable chew. Lemoncello, made by them, gorgeous smell, clean refreshing taste. No sugary syrup. Very pleasantly surprised. I could never cook this good and I wouldn't dare try. My words don't do it justice either. I could go on. Best to just come back here. ASAP. Definitely, the best meal I have ever had. “Stayed here whilst working in London for a few weeks. Staff looked after me very well with a lovely breakfast in the morning and dinner in the bar every evening. Clean, no-frills room.”

“First timer! I visited today at 11:30 as I have seen this place become fairly busy during the day. The cafe was clean, tidy and I thought it was well decorated. Even though it wasn't the warmest of days I felt the atmosphere inside had it's own warmth/vibe. The service was fairly fast. The food was tasty and I really liked the presentation of the English breakfast! The coffee was nice and strong as well, not watery more creamy. Overall, I rate this highly as a cafe. I would recommend to friends and family. I will be back soon :) I'll take pictures next time. As promised, here's a picture of the traditional English breakfast.
