“A lovely quaint place with a nice forest and plenty of pleasant walks to go on. In the hills there are a multitude of bike tracks to explore and there is easy road access and some parking.the green is sometimes used for cricket so do be careful where you are wandering. Overall a well kept place with stunning views and a few lovely lakes to compliment it. Unfortunately there are not any toilets on site but garsons farm ( just down the road) has some”

Great ambience on a Saturday evening, DJ music was fabulous too. The service was over and above, Marketa really looked after us! Thank you for a fabulous evening! “We were walking along the riverfront and looking for a place to have a few drinks. None of the usual bars caught our eye, but the cocktail mene here did, so we went in. I have had the burgers before, and they are delicious, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cocktails too. The vibe and atmosphere was great too! Not just a good burger joint;)”

“Proper truckers cafe. Huge parking lot full of lorries and in the middle stands the cafe . I have eaten breakfast here a number of times and every time it has been a great meal. This is in my opinion the best place for breakfast in the area so perfect if you are passing on the way to Heathrow.”

“Been going here since my daughter has been born. Now she's four & she still loves it. Since Covid/lockdown the cafe has changed owners & it is a massive improvement, better menu, much cleaner inside & outside. They have taken the bins directy outside the cafe which means a lot less bloody wasps. We just had a portion of chips, which argubly was a bit exspensive but they were very nice & the portion was big. The beach was & always is very clean, there is now a new play ship built which my daughter loved. Over the past year they have built a splash park with fountains etc. Again my daughter loved it, it was managed & kept clean very well. There is a small cost £2.70 for 25minites or £5 for an all day wrist band. Overall it was a good day at grays beach & its free, so whats better then that. Will defently be going back.”

I will most definitely recommend the practice to my friends and family. I like the practice so much, they have fresh offers every month. The most important fact is they can see you for emergency appointment immediately and also they are open on Saturdays as well.”

“My little boy has been going to riverside little explorers kindergarten since September 2016. I can't recommend this place highly enough. He has really enjoyed every single day there and has grown into a confident and happy chap who is now excited and ready to start school. The staff are so friendly and supportive, I feel so lucky that my son was able to attend such a fantastic nursery. I never once worried about leaving him in their care, all of the staff are so kind and caring and they really go above and beyond to make sure that the children feel settled and happy. Its been so nice hearing all about the friends he's made and the activities he's enjoyed doing. Such a brilliant place!”

“My daughter joined St. Margarets Montessori in November 2020 and we highly recommend it. Prior to her joining, we searched and vetted over 20 nursery's in and around the area and this by far was outstanding in all aspects. We never regretted our decision. The teacher's are highly qualified, so warm, genuine, caring yet extremely professional. My little one has so much fun and has also learnt lots. The montessori has a huge outside space in comparison to other nurseries we saw. The children are exposed to lots of activities and apparatus to suit all capabilities both inside and outside. We love the weekly updates with photos that we receive from the montessori and the fact that they have an open door policy for any queries about our child. My daughter loves going there and we love seeing her smiling and happy everyday at drop offs.”

“We have had such a positive experience with this nursery I thought it deserved sharing. Our 1 year old started a few months ago and the staff have just gone above and beyond in their care. The Manager Lizzie answered every question we could possibly have without hesitation on our first meeting. Walking around on a tour you can see that she knows every child in each class and they run up to her to say hello. Since starting she has spent one on one time with our child playing football and knows every detail of his day when we see her. How she finds the time to go to this level of detail while managing everything I have no idea! Gemma who supports her is the same and alongside our key workers Lauren and Faith they have helped make the transition so smooth and really tailored their care for our child. (Accommodating our nap times/baby lead weaning/suggesting where to bring personal toys or comforters from home etc). Each morning they take onboard any requests we have and every evening they give us a full de-brief of his day. They also offered courtesy calls throughout the day if we had any worries or needed reassurance after he had been unwell at the weekend. While we haven't met the other staff in person they seem to know our son and regularly wave if we see them out on walks on days when he is not in nursery! All in all we would very much recommend the nursery based on the personnel and the level of care.”

They review the children’s progress too and immediately highlight it to the parents when the progress slows down. They also try help by giving tips to how we can help their learning progress at home. Nice location too!”
