“It was a great hotel. I don't know why people complaining about this hotel. It was really easy to check in and your free to go and comeback with a password. The rooms are small but perfect. Only thing of service. When people stay longer cann you make the rooms clean after maybe 3 days or something. It's a small tip!! Maybe see you next time.”

“A very vibrant place. I was there on a Saturday evening. They offered me a bigger table as it was quite crowded, with the agreement that I will leave in an hour or so, agreeable given the time I had visited. Even through the crowd the people kept checking in if everything was okay and if I needed anything. Chicken 65 (Saucy) was really good. Although the Chicken Tikka was a bit different from my expectations, but it was good. Personally for me it did not suit. Good music, excellent staff and very good service. Will visit again soon to try out their other dishes. Thank you Flavours.”

“I went into Harpers to buy a dress for a special occasion. I was served so efficiently and professionally by very very friendly ladies, who made me feel very relaxed and welcome. I actually bought a beautiful dress and the lady even pinned up for me and then took me over the road to the Dry Cleaners to get it altered, telling him the instructions that she had issued to me. I am now going to go back there to buy some more clothes for another function and look forward to going. I normally dread buying clothes but this has made buying clothes a lovely experience. “The food is nice. We enjoyed the fish tikka. And the chicken wings. It would be nice to see some soya vegan options. It's becoming a more popular requirement. Waiters were a little slow, not really attitive and it wasn't that busy.”

“The food is tasty and portion of biryani is generous, enough for two to share. I recommend lamb bhuna, a chopped fried and flavourful dish which is great with fresh naan or rice. I didn’t order it in this photo but it’s my favourite I realised and regretted not ordering it. The biryani comes with a small curry. Also we received complimentary salad and that salad is so fresh and traditional. The whole menu is halal. Order to personal spice level can be requested. The restaurant itself is nice and clean, the waiters are very professional.”

“I have been staying in this hotel for 1 or 2 nights a week, most weeks, for over a year now, for work reasons. If you want a bed for the night, a shower, a toilet and not much else - this is the place for you. Personally I’d rather spend the other £50-70 on dinner/drinks than stay at what would still be a basic travelodge etc. at twice the price. Jay on reception is a great guy and goes out of his way to make your stay as comfortable as possible at what is, at the end of the day, a very basic, low budget hotel. Location is absolutely fantastic with a very short walk to Paddington station. Understand what you are booking - this isn’t the Ritz, but it’s fine by me.”
