“We celebrated my cousins birthday and this place totally exceeded our expectations! The place is super cosy and the food was incredible from value and taste point of view. Staff were really nice and allowed us to bring our own cake, everyone (including sushi chefs and other people dinning) sang happy birthday as the cake came out so it was really lovely evening. Will come back and definitely recommend!”

“Fast food can be good food. Freshly made chicken Katsu curry that was hot and tasty. Miso soup was generous in size and packed with flavour. Chicken was halal too, which was fantastic.”

When we got there we were greeted by both the manager and the sushi chef both very friendly people. “Honestly would give more stars if I could. Placed my order for the first time here because of a promotion on Deliveroo and never ordered sushi from anyone else. The sushi is always so fresh and well made, and the menu is creative as well. The last time I ordered was a couple of days ago and man I wish I’d taken pictures because the time and attention to garnish was amazing. The sushi was seasoned to perfection too. They really outdid themselves. I also went to pick up an order once with my partner and the staff is super nice. On Deliveroo they handle their own delivery and the drivers always greet you with a smile and are very polite. Best sushi in the area in my opinion!”

“Kenta is my local Japanese and I recently went in for dinner for first time because I didn’t wanna travel far. It was one of the best thing. They have incredible tempura prawns which my favourite. Super crispy and delicious! The menu has a lot of choices and great service! Perfect for date night or family night!”

“Nice Japanese restaurant in Hampstead offering authentic Japanese food. Ambience is good and make you feel like you are in Japan. Their lunch menu had quite a lot variety to choose from, sashimi, sushi, tempura, teriyaki, udon to name a few. And the price are reasonable. The Sashimi rice I ordered is quite fresh with a combination of mixed sashimi or cooked fish. Unfortunately they don’t have uni and salmon roe. Service is good and the staff are quite friendly. They have bar seating as well which is good if you like omakase or have some interaction with the chef . The A la carte menu also have many other alternatives too. Remember to book in advance as they are quite full during lunch & dinner time.”

“Great twist on traditional sushi. All of the sushi was delicious and there was a huge range of options to choose from. The cauliflower starter with a truffle based sauce is one of my favourites. We tried a watermelon based cocktail which was fresh and light. The ambience is lively, super place for sushi that's not too pricey but consistently of a good standard.”

“Went for a Saturday night dinner for 3 at about 8pm. Not too busy and plenty of take away orders. This will from now on be my local go-to Japanese place. Good selection of nigiri, sashimi and rolls, well presented and good flavour combinations. The grilled eggplant was gorgeous, truffled beef decadent and Asahi on tap. If only the portions were bigger!”

This is our go to if we’re not biting the bullet for 200 a head plus omakase options elsewhere. Simple, made to spec (wasabe or no wasabe, wasabe of course), and often with desirable specials. And BYO with negligible corkage!”

It's a very simple place, and if that's what you're after, this place will be great! It's cash only, but cash point is just a few mins walk away”
