“This Saturday, we had been to Shobha,s Rasoi. One thing to keep in mind there there is no parking for Shobha Rasoi and its on the Harrow High Stree but you can park your car in spencer lane which has free parking but spaces are limited. We were not aware of so we parked our car in Locket lane which is charged parking but after 4 pm its free as it was mentioned. We reached there after 7 pm so it was not an issue parking over there. Then we went to Shobha Rasoi. When we entered gate, there was an arrangement for hand sanitizer and once you confirm your booking, you would be accompanied by staff to the relevant place. Although not big but ambience was amazing. All staffs were very nice. We had placed an order for starter and the service was really very quick. We ordered our main courses in anticipation that probably it would take time but before we could finish our starter we got our main courses. Foods my god , it was super delicious. We had got this type of delicious foods after very long time. The taste was like we used to have in India in restaurants. Its really worth visiting this restaurant if you have never been over there.”

“The best Afghani food I’ve had in london at @balkhrestaurant in Kenton. The last time I had Afghan food this good was in Munich in 2019! I was mega hungry after cycling for 90 mins and doing 4 1/2 hours of climbing. In ordered the Qabli Palow (lamb shank with rice) and Mantu (Lamb Dumpling). Both were generous portions and absolutely delicious. I had Dough (yogurt based) to drink. Service was friendly and professional. They also gave me a little bit of home made ice cream on the house. Definitely be returning here again soon.”

Everything was well labelled, priced, clean and tidy.....puts some supermarkets to shame!! I only went in to see the store, and came out with 2 full bags. “Fantastic , a little slice of Malaysia on a plate , we did go a little over the top with what we ordered but it was well worth it the ikan bilis fried rice , mutton murtabak , butter chicken and crab curry , it was all amazing , tasty aromatic and full of flavour , nice fresh crab “diamond crab” which had more than enough meat on it for the dish. I and Su thought the fried rice was one of the best we have tried in the UK The owners Ravi and Raji a great husband and wife team , it’s almost like going home and chatting with family as they are so welcoming. This is the second visit as first time my wife took me for brunch of egg paratha (roti canai) with mutton curry and kopi tarik and squid sambal and kway teow which I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone as an excellent gateway dish into Malaysian food. There is ample parking in rayners lane train station which is a simple 3 minute walk away I mention this as people worry about parking which isn’t an issue.”
