Angelo gave me a really good haircut and shaved off my beard that I had had for 3 months for a really good price of £15. The decor is very nice and he is very friendly and professional. “These guys not only offer a good hair cut they offer a calm, relaxing warm energy that really welcomes you as soon as you are in the door. I’ve been going to them for years, and there’s a reason for that. Hair cuts are consistent, it doesn’t matter who you go to the level of fade they can cut in is really good. Only thing I’d say is that sometimes it can be too busy that it takes long to wait, but that could be a good thing I suppose. Easy 5 stars.”

“JJ Barbers is a beautifully stylish and suave place. Rebar, the owner, is passionate about his profession and all things 'grooming'. He has styled my hair, on and off, for about 8 years (since his previous place). He not only cuts head hair & facial hair, he also advises and instructs - taking pride in his work and care over his clients. Given time, he gets to know you and remembers important things you've talked about previously. He has developed his skills and has now established this amazing barbers on Gloucester Road, not far from East Croydon and works alongside his brother. There is sometimes a wait, but it's worth it. And, Rebar has thoughtfully installed a PS4 for those who are a little more playful! Very highly recommended.”

Her prices are very reasonable and it was just a lovely atmosphere in the salon. Everyone was wearing masks so it was Covid friendly too. I’ll be back soon!!”

“Couldn't recommend Thea enough!! I've used a few hairdressers over the last 5/6 years but never found a hairdresser I wanted to go back to and always hated the outcome of my hair. I really can't recommend Thea enough from Roxbys! She really listens to your concerns and exactly what you want to do with your hair. I will not use any other hairdresser and only trust her with my hair. Her colouring skills are insane and I always leave the salon beaming as I'm so happy with her work. I've shown her pictures of hair I like and she always give her professional opinion whilst achieving the closest colour match possible. She recommends products and tools for your hair depending on what you're looking for but doesn't pressure you into purchasing any products and makes you feel comfortable about your choices. As well as this, she's such a lovely kind hearted girl and always makes me feel comfortable. She puts up with me messaging her every few weeks/months with new questions or queries I have with my hair and is always really helpful and patient with me. I always ask for Thea but all the staff in Roxby's are polite and make sure you're well looked after so even if you don't book in with Thea I'm sure you'll leave just as happy as I do.”
