“This was the first restaurant I dined at on my most recent London trip. My friend made us a reservation but there were plenty of seating areas available. I ordered the mezze bowl and I thought it was yummy and filling. There were blankets available in case you get cold while sitting on the terrace. I was grateful for that because I ended up using one towards the end of the night. Atmosphere - relaxed, perfect for solo dining, friends, dates, and families. Service- friendly (took a while to get the bill to pay) I did not like their bathroom set up. One tiny toilet for everyone.”

“The food was really good. Service was quite good too. Only it seemed a bit on the over priced side given the location and dearth of other good Turkish restaurants all around. Otherwise great fining experience. The kunafa was really good. The appetizer Manti also very nicely done. Loved the Adana special.”

“Had a wonderful dinner at Lokanta tonight. The environment is beautiful and our server, Tanya, took amazing care of us. It was clear both she and the chef cared a lot about flavours, presentation, and personalisation. All in all, the service and the flavours were phenomenal, and I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!”

“I’ve been to many Turkish restaurants in London and I have to say that this ranks at the top. The chicken was extremely soft and juicy, the lamb chops and lamb sish were cooked to perfection and the Adana had interesting herbs. Overall the meat was very juicy. I’d recommend mixed grill as the main and the Hummus with Lamb as the starters. Also their garlic and Chili sauce was very good!”

“My Favourite Restaurant in Woodford. I visit every month. It is run with German efficiency. Even when it is full the service is consistently good. The food and wine I can’t fault and the staff look after you. I can’t fault The Broadway Thank you and look forward to returning.”

Absolutely amazing food from starters to main, even the bread comes out soft, fresh & hot……the food was perfectly cooked to compliment the high quality of produce used…..I had liver starter & the mixed shish…..cannot praise the chef enough. The staff were very attentive & friendly. Highly recommended. Cannot wait for my next visit!”

“A true hidden gem that deserves more than five stars. Put simply the food was outstanding, the service was outstanding and a lovely ambience. Completely got lost in the atmosphere here and the menu is full of amazing dishes. The price was very reasonable and the recommendations from our server sold us right away. This is a must go to little gem of a place and me and my partner will most definately be returning. If that hasn't sold you.. I have never.. left a restaurant to go to an ATM to give a generous tip. A massive thank you to everyone here. Side note - you must try the butternut squash and passionfruit cake. Divine!”

“We hired Hackney Brew Church for our wedding party and it was just brilliant. The venue looked incredible and Hamish and the team were fantastic - from start to finish - going above and beyond. Aaron and Caroline absolutely smashed it with the food - utterly sensational. The food was the talk of the night with so many guests declaring it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding party. We couldn't agree more. Our foodie / hospitality friends were also incredibly complimentary on the cava and wine on offer. Liv, Hamish and the team behind the bar were brilliant as well. Never an empty glass. From the moment we popped into the brewery they were nothing but brilliant, answering a multitude of questions and nothing ever seemed too much. We are so grateful and will be singing their praises from the rooftops.”

“I really liked this experience. Location service and food quality was superb. Cocktails are very well executed though wines are quite pricey. In general the staff were attentive yet unobtrusive and they were generally well informed about the menu and dietary preferences. I especially liked the baby chicken dish that was great.”

“Invited to a birthday dance, great dance floor nice venue- only drank soft drinks because dehydration when dancing so orange squash at £2.50 was a bit spiteful for 'club' prices but apparently beer was sensibly priced excellant venue”

“My Daughter took me for a surprise meal here. The music was loud. I found the wooden bench seating uncomfortable but I did enjoy the overall experience & food. Personally I think not much choice for mains & a little expensive, especially the sides & drinks. No Coke etc on menu. The seating was also close together. Both meals came out on a sharing platter.”

“I've known this pub since '97. Back then it was...odd. Acton was....scary. While Acton come gentrified, this pub became a hub. Has been run for many years by lovely Italian people. Pizzas are amazing. Venue amazing. Great beer garden, come summer or winter. I used to come here with my sons to grab a beer and relax, after nursery.”

“60th Birthday lunch We invited 12 couples for lunch to celebrate our birthdays last Sunday. We were fortunate to use the private area which was set out beautifully for our party. The service throughout the meal was very good, and the food on our set menu was delicious. We all enjoyed our visit and would definitely return soon.”

Was disappointed with the apple crumble as there wasn't much apple, and the crumble was a bit well done. Lovely outdoor seating area at both front and back. Little booth/huts which have heaters and plastic zip down covers also. Will definitely return! Had the same main meal again today and still great! Service was a bit slow but was quite busy.”

“Lovely dinner at Bacco Ristorante Italiano after an afternoon in Richmond. A small menu that is well executed. The bruschetta with burrata, risotto with asparagus and prawns, and tagliatelle with black truffle were all excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of Italian wines. Large outdoor seating area under large umbrellas. Definitely will return and would definitely recommend.”

“This is more like a smart cafe than a formal restaurant with a family friendly ambience. When we were here, there were plenty of people with children around (Saturday 530pm). We got a max platter, which was always going to be more food than we needed for two adults and two children but would be perfect for four adults. The meats were excellent and we went for rice instead of chips which was good as an extra. Definitely very good value for money and the quality of the food is as good as many of the more upmarket Turkish restaurants in nearby areas.”

“We went on a Saturday evening and the restaurant was quite full with many takeaway orders. Although there were many customers, we didn't have to wait too long for food. It was nice to see the meat and dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen right next to the seating area. The portions were perfect and there was a good mix of salad, rice and meat. All the food was seasoned well and had a nice charred taste to them. The staff were very friendly and would highly recommend this place!”
