“My car was miss firing. I took it to another garage for diagnostic and I have been advised to change ignition coil, after replacing the ignition coil car still miss firing, then been advised that the engine compression is low and need new piston ring which cost nearly £1000. I have called this new garage of Arisdale avenue and booked for diagnostic. while I was waiting the mechanic use special equipment and found the fault which was one of the spark plug even though the spark pug been change nearly two week ago. special thanks to Hass who save me a lot of money.”

“Thank you Kinghams. I have just received the most amazing, above and beyond service imaginable. I was in East Croydon for highly distressing personal reasons (to appear as a witness in Family Court) when a wheel bearing went in my Subaru. The AA (who I had called) highly recommended Kinghams, then escorted me there. They thought they could it relatively easily and that I’d be able to travel on down to Cornwall to visit my son and grandchildren who I haven’t seen for a year. . Sadly, the more they looked at the car the more problems they found. I was kept informed (so efficiently by video film) and difficulties arose because of the well-publicised shortage of parts. They eventually fixed my problems by bastardising one of their new, for-sale cars leaving it unsaleable until September when the parts can be replaced by Subaru. This is almost unimaginable service. They were kind, courteous, informative and great in every way. They have eventually managed a top class job of getting my car safely back on the road. I am never-endingly grateful and when I win the Lottery will make an ex-gratia payment which can be used as wanted. Thank you again, Kinghams,”

“I've been servicing my car at Brent Autos for 6 years. I've always found Mike (the owner) to be a reliable, honest and an experienced mechanic. He always tells me exactly what work he plans to carry out and does not do extra work without seeking my permission first. Also he always clearly itemises his invoices. A couple of years ago I had an engine management fault on my VW Polo. I initially took it to a main VW dealership, who wanted to charge me for expensive diagnostics and new parts with no guarantee of being able to fix the problem. Dissatisfied with VW's attitude I took the car to mike who after much patient work was able to fix the problem at a reasonable price.
