“This is a great school. Received an excellent school inspection report. The staff are enthusiastic and the facilities are superb. The head mistress Mrs Bradley is so friendly and my daughter loved this place. The only slight drawback is that the small car park and location can make it a bit challenging when dropping of and picking up children. Would recommend to parents.”

However a first read of the set menu offered a telling insight into the thought and delight of the food that was to come. Each dish delivered a firm punch of brilliant and bold flavour, but also a delicate balance, underpinned by a controlled and measured richness that too many restaurants fail to achieve. Each dish unlocked the imagination of the palate and the food was partnered with a wonderfully flavoured glass of wine. A triumph. Well done to Marcella.”

“I am in love with this place! Everything is good quality, well presented, fresh and the family who run the restaurant are lovely. Good options for vegetarians too - standout dishes for me were the tom yum, tom kha gai, the chilli basil stir fry and laksa. The interiors are clean and suits the street food atmosphere they are trying to create. Fortune cookies are given in a little trolley at the end of your meal which is quirky and memorable. Also great in this small restaurant was that one of the main guys there was very pleasant and easy to talk to. Under new management and ownership, with now a great atmosphere in a wonderful location, a short distance from East Croydon Station, with lovely welcoming staff, a brilliant catering team preparing amazing Afro-Caribbean Food.
