● Open“My first visit to this particular location. Stayed here as was close to airport for my holiday but still close enough to central for me to go and explore London… Great room and service, checked in by Lara, very friendly smile. Restaurant not too bad for dinner had server Rachel, very happy lady. For breakfast was not the best buffet but good enough.”

Leonardo Hotel London Watford - Formerly Jurys Inn
● Open“We had the pleasure of staying here for New Year's Eve and News Year Day. The service was fantastic from arrival to departure. Immaculate hotel, rooms were spacious , clean and comfortable. The service in the bar and restaurant was superb too, the bar/restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. They adapted changes to the food choices without any hesitation to ensure our 3 children were satisfied. The cleaning staff left our rooms gleaming and there was literally nothing to fault. The manageress of the cleaning staff, who was also first aid trained was absolutely superb at supporting us on new years day as our youngest had quite a dramatic nose bleed, she was so calm and experienced, that her presence and guidance helped immediately, literally can't thank her enough for her help . And Nothing was a bother, and it helped us feel at total ease, especially with 3excitable children who were desperate to visit Harry Potter's Studio on New Year's Day. The shuttle bus was also just a 5minute walk from the hotel, which was another bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel, for quality service, location smd fantastic customer service from all of the staff and would have no hesitation to visit again or another of the Leonardo Hotels.”

Montcalm East, Shoreditch London
● Open“I had a great stay in Montcalm East during a business trip for a week. The hotel has quite a unique touch and at the price point the amenities can't be beat. The rooms are well planned, reasonably sized and the bathrooms are well appointed including the heated flooring. The hot/ cold breakfasts are so much better than the traditional American breakfast that is seen in the hotel chains. Location wise, this place is quite central to all the tourist spots that someone may want to hit.”

Ayannas London
● Closed“If you're on the fence about visiting Ayannas, get off it. You'll walk into an intimate space reminiscent of my now 2nd favourite London restaurant: Sparrow. Ayannas takes the top spot from the quality of this focused menu to the well-balanced cocktails and overall presentation. Flawless guest service, food, and drink. It was a quiet night - we were the first guests to arrive for dinner at 7pm - and the owner took this as an opportunity to get us checked in at a comfortable pace. She was even gracious enough to push back our booking time as we were having delays in transit. We enjoyed the boneless curry goat and braised oxtail with rice & peas, alongside freshly made coleslaw and a rich mac & cheese. Very satisfying meal, both in terms of portion size and taste. We didn't have room for dessert but will definitely return to try the chocolate and rum cakes. All in all, Ayannas menu is a true love letter to Jamaican cuisine - highly recommend.”

Cassiobury Park Hub & Daisy’s In The Park
● Open“I started going to Daisy’s in the park when I got my puppy over a year ago. The staff are very friendly, helpful and so professional, all of them! I really enjoy going there in the morning get my coffee. Their breakfast and cakes are delicious, home-made with a wild variety to choose from. It gets busy over the weekend but they still put a smile on their face and try their best to get rid of the queue. For instance they’ll open the cafeteria downstairs whenever possible. They’re the only cafeteria in the park so weekends get very busy. I usually go around 10am at the weekend to skip the queue. They take cards only since Covid/lockdown which is the new norm in most places anyways. I actually find it reassuring to avoid spreading germs… Covid! They also have hand sanitiser and dog treats. Very generous! My dog loves them :-)”

E9 Cafe London
● Open267 Well Street, London E9 6RG, United Kingdom“Where do I begin? Out of 3 local cafes in my area the E9 cafe has given me the opportunity to actually write a positive review about. Now don't get me wrong, the other two cafes were 'okay' but that's not what I'm looking for in morning food hunt with the misses. The portion size was great, the E9 special English breakfast was not at all expensive and not burned. The staff are extremely nice and helpful, brang the tea and coffee right away and even the food waiting time was very minimal. Whatever you do wherever you go E9 cafe is the place to be!”
