Sidney Hotel London Victoria : 3 Star Hotel & Serviced Apartments Near Victoria Coach Station in Central London
● Open“Visiting London was my Christmas present, so my girlfriend and me stayed in Sidney Victoria. Levi (I Don’t know if I write it well) did our check in and he welcomed us perfect! We felt the warm welcome and he’s been amazing and so helpful. There was another receptionist from India that was so nice with us as well. I’m working in the industry since 12 years ago and I would to have staff like they in our team! The hotel was nice, but it’s a maze, kind of game to find the room but the rooms are good, well cleaned and full prepared with all kind of facilities. The only thing we did not like is the breakfast; there’s practically nothing but the staff is lovely, so we did not care about that. It’s near all, we walked everywhere and came back walking as well. Definitely we will stay there again soon and we hope to see our friends from front desk again.”

Satay Street Café
● Closed“One of the best lunch spots for a hearty and delicious satay chicken and rice! Always go for the large even though the standard portion is pretty hefty. The pickles are amazing and the rice is always perfectly cooked. I get it at least once a week and the staff are always friendly! Highly recommended!”

Lebanese Please Restaurant
● Open“Found this via Google whilst staying in the area and took a gamble as I didn't fancy a regular pub, Chinese or Indian for dinner. Booked over the phone no problems. On arrival we had a friendly greeting and were shown to our table. Staff were fantastic through the evening with nothing being too much trouble and their attention to detail was fantastic. Now to the food. The menu had a good variety to it and was reasonably priced with a good selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks we can recommend the homemade lemonade (very refreshing) . When our food arrived we were not disappointed everything was fabulously fresh and was full of flavour and of a decent portion size . Don't be put off by the low number of reviews as the restaurant is relatively new. Five star review a must visit if you are in the area. Thank you for a lovely evening Lebanese Please.”

Tattoo artist and piercer both put everyone at ease, piercer talked us through the options and what jewellery they had available and she had two of us pierced and sorted within 5 mins, explaining aftercare and keeping us laughing throughout. Would definitely recommend for the atmosphere and customer service alone! Very happy with our piercings, both healing well.”

Filthy Buns

Only negative was that the patty was a bit thin so might be worth upgrading to two patties. Pub is a bit run down but adds to the charm and has a good vibe for the football too.”

Cento Uno
● Closed“Lovely little Italian restaurant in Surbiton. Despite arriving early to try and get a table, the place has a really good vibe and not to mention good food. (Place was fully booked but accepted walk in entries if there was last minute availability) Menu consists of starters, pizza choices, pasta dishes, specials and desserts. There are gluten free pasta and pizza base available, these are not made on the premises and is made by a separate company. There is a small additional charge for this. Pizza is made fresh in their impressively large pizza oven located in the restaurant. We were sat at the bar area around this pizza oven and it was lovely to see the pizza masters doing their thing with stretching the pizza dough. Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks too. The place was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Will return.”

OKA Barnes
● Open“I reached out to OKA to help me with a special request putting together a custom sushi "cake" for my partner's birthday. To say the least, I was not disappointed (see pictures!!). The staff were extremely attentive and I got to speak to the chef directly to discuss the ingredients and decorations of the cake. They even added extra details like gold leaf and floral decorations! The cake was delivered at a specified time to our doorstep with sushi condiments and a sparkler candle included. My partner and I are very impressed with the service and attention to detail. Thank you so much to all the staff that helped make this happen!”

Café Amisha
● Open“Uanama bellll!! Top, Top, Top!! Cafe' Amisha is the best Italian Restaurant in South-East London. All ingredients come directly from Italy, and all the chefs are Italian. All the waiters and Paola are incredibly kind and attentive. The main Chef, Leo, aka "The Maestro", is impressive. He cooks traditional recipes from Apulia and nationwide Italian food. Fregola, Pizza (ask for tuna and cipolla!) and fish are top at Amisha's cafe. At Easter time, ask for a Pastiera, a traditional Southern Italy Easter cake made. Maestro's pastiera is as good as my mum's. They also have a shop for Italian food which has really good stuff and Italian delicatessens. The owner, Francesco, is amazing. He is the most friendly and the nicest person ever. He is a natural people person, always smiling and happy. He also saved my life during the first lockdown and the food shortage. I bougth everything I needed there. He and his staff also delivered food to my place at any hour, including regular fresh fish deliveries.. He is also actively volunteering to help the NHS and the local community. A living hero, in a few words. He truly deserves a half-body statue at the nearby SPA garden.”
