“There was a small mishap in my reservation, but the staff was so accommodating and kind, I was never worried about my stay there. Truly a 5-star hotel in my opinion. Staff was super friendly, helpful, and kind. The room was amazing…luxurious, beautiful, posh. Turndown service every evening with candies left on the bed. As a woman traveling alone, they made me feel safe, welcome, and looked after. Champagne afternoon tea service was amazing!! Be prepared to eat a lot. Tea was fantastic…I miss it already. Dinner at Chenestons was ok. The food was well prepared, but the choices on the menu weren’t anything I was excited about. Cocktails in the lounge were the finest! Angelo is an amazing mixologist; incredibly creative and knowledgeable in his craft. Their smoked old fashioned is a must have. And ask Claire to make a hot toddy…you won’t be disappointed! The breakfast was equally amazing as the tea service. I had the smoked salmon scrambled eggs on toast. So delicious! The hotel is right across from Hyde Park which has numerous walking paths for a leisurely stroll after breakfast or afternoon tea. If it’s a rainy day, their doorman will set you up with one of their umbrellas. The concierge staff was very helpful and kind. One man asked for reservations for somewhere that served beef Wellington for him and his wife. The concierge called around, found a restaurant, checked on available reservations, let the guest know, and booked it for him. They'll call taxis for you, set up tours, etc. Excellent customer service!”

“My daughter & I spent 9 nights here before the beginning of her study-abroad program. We'd selected a hotel in eastern London to be closer to the Goldsmith's campus; this was lucky for us as we happened to be there during the funeral for Queen Elizabeth II (thus we were well out of the way of the crowds and closed-off streets). The room was comfortable and had a great shower. Loved the comfort of the beds and pillows. Room service was fast and great. All staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome. The hotel is 2 or 3 minutes from a Tube station which was very convenient. The Tower of London/Tower Bridge was about 8 minutes walking time away. Felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood and many pubs & restaurants were within 20 minutes walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.”

“27 August- 2 September 2022 The front desk service was very attentive and professional. We were greeted by Xinchen Li Guest Relations Manager whom was so so helpful. Her PR is excellent and took us in with open arms. The hotel ambience was warm and welcoming with the right mix of traditional, classic charm with a contemporary feel. We are enjoying every minute in your esteem hotel. The doorman remembers our name and welcoming us every time when we returned. Our room was deluxe, clean and fresh, lovely bed and amenities. The bathroom is very clean and fresh and all we need is there. Everybody from staff is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay, location is great too, a short stroll to the tube station. We will definitely come back!”

“Exceptional service at the highest levels befitting of London and the Four Seasons brand. The resort took the time to know our family. Thus upon arrival we were greeted in our room with locally sourced chocolates, treats, and a British teddy bear for our child. This was wonderful after a long flight from the US. The suite was grandiose and spacious from top to bottom, this is impressive considering it's a modernized classic building in the middle of one of the most congested global cities. The same can be said about the spa and pool, truly a gem within the city. What they have done with the building is an architectural marvel, check out the mini replica in the foyer. The concierge desk was amazing, obtaining a table for us with no notice at their 2 star Michelin restaurant and retrieving a lost item after departure. The service put the experience over the edge. Only the best and brightest work here, and it's easy to tell, from the doorman to the dining room. Finally, the special attention to our child from all the staff was remarkable and thoughtful. This is how a luxury resort should operate, bravo!”

“My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting London. Small hotel which is amazing. The staff are all lovely. The rooms are small but had what we needed. The bathroom and shower was so nice. We had breakfast on our last morning and it was amazing. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in London.”

“One of my rare 5-star reviews :-P. Check-in: Uncomplicated, and pleasant, with Peter explaining facilities available. Room: Wow. Large, spacious (by London standards), clean, and clean modern decor. Small functional kitchenette with microwave, fridge and dishwasher. Nespresso machine, tea, cookies, UHT milk. Bathroom equally spacious, with adjustable height shower (no rainfall shower, if that matters to you). Small settee at the end of the bedto stretch out and relax. Comfortable bed, with reading lights. Small table with chairs, for a quick bite to eat. Room relatively quiet, very little noise intrusion from outside, occasional noise from corridor, but all in all, pretty quiet. Facilities: Breakfast (7-11 weekdays) served at lobby lounge. Continental and simple; best to inspect prior to purchase to decide value for money. Lounge was clean and open to guests, with 24/7 coffee/tea available. Staff: Friendly throughout. Room wasn't serviced for 2 night stay, but that was OK with me. Location: A little bit of a walk from Underground or Overground station (15 mins brisk walk), but buses available. Lots to eat in the vicinity, looks like quite a thriving and mid-scale neighborhood. 10 mins brisk walk to the British Design Centre. (Minor) Grouses: No shower gel provided (but shampoo, tiny bar of soap and body lotion). More eco approach would be to provide dispensers for the above, rather than single use plastics. Detergent and sponge provided for kitchenette, but no dishcloth or disposable wipe (paper towels provided, though!) Summary: Modern, spacious, comfortable. Would stay again, in a shot!”

Everything was perfect, we loved the quirky design of the property and the funny corridors up to the floors Cheers to Carlo for making our room absolutely stunning with some romantic decoration, it was a great surprise for my partner Breakfast was tasty and staff very welcoming Location is a bit of a walk for the closest station but not so difficult to get to the city center We will be back in this hotel for sure”

“We boarded our two working spaniels for two weeks and they looked like they were having the best time! When we picked them up they looked happy, healthy and well taken care of. We worried about them because of the heat wave but the daily updates kept us reassured that they were in great hands. We also really loved that they did daily weight checks for the dogs to make sure they weren’t losing weight due to stress. They really do take the well-being of your dogs seriously. Thank you very much for everything! We will 100% be using your services again!”

“The best cattery around. The staff are really friendly and genuinely care about the cats. Not only did they give my cat Tommy his medication twice a day but also really looked after him despite him going blind just a few days before arrival. I couldn't recommend them more”

“Maggie May has been going to Pawtopia doggy day care for a number of years. She was a rescue and we were both a bit anxious at the outset. With support and guidance from Luka and his team, Maggie has become a very happy and confident dog. She comes home pleasantly tired and content..and I'm a very pleased mum. I would not hesitate to recommend Pawtopia both for Day Care and Boarding.”

“Leslie and the team at Pets World have been just fantastic. We have been using them for nearly 2 years now since coming to live in Staplehurst - we have 2 dogs, one of which is a little rescue and needs a lot of help when it comes to socialising. We have never been able to have anyone to look after him before and it made going away very difficult... we no longer have these worries. Leslie and the team put it so much hard work to get to know Frodo (and Remus but he's a big softy anyway), that he now feels safe with them too. We never thought this would happen and are so grateful! 10/10! Thank you so much and here's to many more years!”

“Where do I begin? This hotel exceeded my and my husbands expectations. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and I would even go as far to say opulent. When we arrived we were put in and ADA queen room. I didn’t think much of it, but my husband checked our original reservation and we had booked a superior king room with a park view. He went down to let them know about the mix up. Doreen helped to sort everything out and to make up for the error, comped us a suite. We have never felt so cared for in the hospitality realm as we did from Doreen and the rest of the staff at Kimpton Fitzroy. We will always always stay here when we visit London going forward as a result of her and her teams exceptional service. As far as we are concerned, this is the best hotel in London. I would also like to say that every staff member at this hotel was exceptional from the door man to concierge to management. They know what they’re doing here.”

Wonderful room, with lots of nice touches, even a rubber ducky for the bathtub. Perfect location right by the South Kensington tube stop. “This is a lovely hotel. Centrally located, full of period features, and one of the best verandas in the city. High tea is available as well. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are amazing, even providing my godchildren with a welcome pack and a scavenger hunt. A very lovely place to stay.”

“I stayed here for a week with my family while traveling for work. Our room was very clean and cleaning/refreshing was offered daily. I was gone most of each day, but thought everyone was very nice and accommodating. Staff were happy to help with taxis, umbrellas, and gave me converters for electronics after I realized I left mine at home. My family was at the hotel much more than I was, and they had great things to say about the staff, food, etc.”

“What an absolutely fabulous hotel. This hotel is steeped in history and the decor and staff uniforms pay homage to the past. However, the whiskey bar run by Daniel is amazing, take some time to speak to him and let him. walk you through the whiskeys, then nip into "40 Elephants", the cocktail bar in the hotel and have the staff detail the cocktails and why the chandelier is like it is - the place is fabulous. - cannot recommend it enough.”

“The afternoon tea here was absolutely phenomenal. My two children (8 and 5) were so thrilled with the cute and delicious food, and the wonderful atmosphere. The best highlight was our server, Hafize. She was so thoughtful and kind, but also took her time to develop a personal connection with us. My girls adored her too, she was so sweet with them. We left with our bellies and hearts full!”

“We absolutely loved the Portobello! We had two rooms for our group. Both rooms were lovely, very clean, with all sorts of great touches. I’m a clean freak when it comes to bathrooms and hotel rooms, and everything was extremely clean. Staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Location was perfect as well, right in Nottinghill. Shops, cafes, restaurants all within walking. We will definitely stay again, next time we visit London. I highly recommend!”
