“A big thank you to Robert from Robert’s Fine Jewellery based on the Upper Level of the Belfry Shopping Centre. I needed my watch battery replaced only to discover the back had been cross threaded when it was previously replaced by a jewellers in Kingston Upon Thames. Robert was excellent in making sure the job got done, and sent it to a watch repairer. This only took a couple of days and Robert also steam cleaned and buffed out the scratches on the strap. I can honestly say the watch hasn’t looked so good in years and everything cost only £15 so can’t recommend this jewellers highly enough.”

We needed a new shank for a ring that has a huge amount of sentimental value and was going to an engagement ring - Omar was able to advise on what was needed to repair the ring and reassured us that the repairs wouldn’t change the look of the ring. He did an absolutely phenomenal job - the ring looks stunning, and now that it’s been repaired we can see how insecure the diamonds were and how much more solid it feels now. He was able to reuse the metal of the original shank, which was very special for us, and my partner couldn’t be happier. “Scott and the team at Hatton Garden Workshop are absolutely brilliant - incredibly prompt and friendly, giving expert, tailored advice and workmanship that genuinely stands out in Hatton Garden (and London as a whole). Scott went above and beyond to reset a stone that kept becoming loose in my ring and, in doing so, identified in seconds what was wrong with the existing setting (which no one had done previously) and completely rebuilt the clasps – all in a day. I’m not sure what I expected other than a more secure stone, but the end result is staggering and still blows my mind – I love it. He clearly has a genuine passion for his work, and a rare understanding of intricate and careful workmanship. I was really impressed by the team’s clear emphasis on integrity and longevity rather than quick fixes. The turnaround was efficient, the pricing was transparent and competitive, and the environment was open and not at all pressurised. It’s also amazing to see the workshop on site!
