Da Terra Restaurant
● Closed“This is a two Michelin star restaurant in east London so prices are high but definitely worth it. The dishes have a Brazilian background but with a fusion twist and, for lunch, you can choose between a five and nine courses meals. We went for the 5 courses with wine tasting and it was delicious I have to say. It's very small but with a very nice atmosphere. You can also see the kitchen and the magic they do behind lthe counter. The staff is very polite and prepared. Definitely worth going if you like fine dining experiences.”

Thames Tigers
● Open“Top experience. Speed, "dangerous" turns, bumps, commentary, opportunity to take photos/videos along Thames and a free bier/soda. Time went so fast.”
-
104 Restaurant
● Closed“An exceptional culinary experience we had the privilege to assist as the tube and trains where on strike and we where the only 3 patrons. The 104 is not about being fancy it is about cuisine. The quality of the products, the talent of chef Richard and the kindness of the service (let alone the superb wine list) makes me want to come back very very soon.”

The Chelsea Cellar
● Closed“I came here as part of a business group for dinner yesterday evening. Firstly, WOW!! What a wonderful restaurant. Beautiful, cosy, intimate venue. We were greeted with a glass of gorgeous Prosecco and seated in comfy chairs. Mood lighting made the place feel so special. Then..the food!! Oh, my!! Platter after platter of the most delicious starters were brought to the table. My personal highlight was the platter of buratta, mixed Italian salamis/prosciutto and tomatoes. I have eaten many buratta in my time but this was beyond-words-delicious. Same with my tuna steak:.never tasted anything like it to this standard. The ‘table wine’ was far beyond anything you would get in a standard Italian in London. It was so smooth..needless to say, many a refill was requested haha!! The two-man staff were efficient, super-attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend Chelsea Cellar enough. Belissimo!!”

Majestic Wine
● Closed“Nice wine, helpful service. The team here are really helpful. I had help finding the wine I was looking for. I was given a sheet with tasting notes for all the wines i bought and my wine was carried to the car for me. There were a number of wines open to try. Although I didn't like any of them as they were all old world. Suggestion for improvement - perhaps wider variety of wine available to taste ( new and old world).”

● Closed“This is hands on the best place in London! Everything was spot on. The food is fantastic, and everything we ordered was just a joy to eat. Simple menu well done. The service was welcoming and the venue itself fit the rest of the experience perfectly. Surprisingly enough, it was among the cheapest we tried throughout this week of restaurant hopping. Such a jem!!!!!”

-
Alcedo Bistro & Bar
● Closed“I visited this restaurant last week after finding it on Meerkat dining out. Check in advance what the offers are on this as it seems a little out of date. The owner/manager is a very happy chap who was very attentive. The decor was tasteful and rustic and the atmosphere was relaxed. Fresh lightly grilled bread was served which was a bonus. 3 of us all had a main meal and shared a bottle of wine. With the discount it came to about £50. All the food was fresh and tasty. Overall a very nice place and I am sure we will return in future.”

The Wine Reserve
● Closed“What I really like about the Wine Reserve, other than the fantastic selection they have, is the knowledge, the interest and the passion the staff have for wine. Their recommendations have been great, and the service, the charm and the options on offer are all excellent. I’ve even ordered and had them send wine as gifts and for parties, and really the people there are so helpful. So much better than buying from a supermarket! Highly recommended.”

Pier1 Fish and Grill
● Closed“It was the only non-salty fish and chips I had in London. You'll know at first bite that it's a fried fish cooked with very fresh fish. And it was very reasonable prices! I strongly recommend it!”

-
L'oscar Restaurant
● Open“There is a slight feeling of old world decadence and privilege when you visit here, which is quite nice in this era of cold modern interiors. The staff are very professional and the food is of exceptional quality. Visit for a lengthy lunch in the Holborn area of London.”

● Closed“Always would be a 5 star for me. I don’t even know the amount of times I’ve been. Never disappoints. Always super fresh! Crew is amazing and Kenan is simply THE best! And one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Their fish is definitely one of the best in town. With a perfect size menu and simple dishes made to perfection. Their new Prawn and Cod Gyozas are to die for! And of course the cheese cake!”

hub by Premier Inn London Westminster Abbey hotel
● Open“Excellent stay. Super efficient location and I loved the touch screen buttons on the bed that controlled the lights and room temperature. Breakfast was great and lots of options to choose from. Very nice bar staff and one of the guys at breakfast was so noticeably kind, caring and welcoming to everyone who walked in the lobby. Not sure if he was the manager but it didn’t go unnoticed. Thanks very much.”

The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection
● Open“After the first night of my first stay at this hotel, I have to tell you I'm really warming up to the property. Important to contrast, I usually visit London and stay on the north side of the Thames. This first overnight on the south and east side is proving to be very acceptable. Now about the Dixon in particular... I have seen several reviews site. A lack of hospitable service from the front desk and others that can be not farther from the truth in my initial check-in experience warm and welcoming staff not only expeditiously checked me in. Saw to an upgraded room and insisted on helping guide me to the elevator and overall very positive and endearing experience. The lobby as my included pictures demonstrate is outstanding. The integration of the historic property with modern touches is intriguing. And while I had initial concerns about noise level, given that my room faced immediately onto the major thoroughfare slept wonderfully. As of time of this writing, I have not utilized food and beverage on property. So I cannot speak to the level of performance of staff or robust quality of the dining experience. But I give this location a hardy five stars.”

The Running Mare.
● Closed“This was my favorite pub. We spent a great deal of time and money there. Good friends made, both staff and locals. Unfortunately, the manager, has no class and a bad attitude. The Runner is on suspension, for me, for 60 days. If it ever happens again, I won’t spend another £ there. Reply - I am not about to Dox anybody. We love the food, atmosphere and friendships. The absolute majority of your staff is excellent. A little bit of tact goes a long way though, as opposed to a “Shoosh”. You should indeed have a conversation with managers about how they deal with people, especially some that drop 500 quid a month. Thanks, Ollie, Very Best. Update - The Running Mare has definitely upped their game. Give credit where credit is due. This is a wonderful place where You will find kind and interesting people. The service and food is excellent. I’m glad. I could post a new review 5/5. Very Best, Ed”
