● Closed“One of the most unique - and pricey but worth it - women's shoe stores in London. I'm a man, but I am envious of my wife's shoes from TN, and they receive compliments galore. They are unlike any other shoes, are very well made, and the shop is whimsical and on a wonderful street full of boutiques.”

J.M. Weston
● Closed“Excellent shop. I have been wearing Weston shoes for years, and they are simply unbeatable in terms of design and solidity. People in store takentime to welcome you and to choose the best shoes. Much better than John Lobb in my opinion.”

Canopy
● Closed“Husband's preparing for a business trip to UK and offered to pick up another pair of the world's best slippers, Moshulu, not available in US. Found Canopy's website and chuckled over review complimenting Canopy's selection and service. Our family frequented the shop while living in Kew several years ago. It was months before we figured out the store's name was 'Canopy'; we simply called it the 'nice lady shop' because the women working there were absolutely delightful! They invariably stocked everything we wanted -- Hunter boots, indestructible umbrellas, gloves and scarves, coveted Moshulu slippers. God save Canopy!”

Barker Shoes
● Closed“I read the other reviews here and feared the worst. In the end I was served by an extremely helpful, friendly, knowledgable and very personable Italian woman who made me feel as if she actually wanted to help and was there to make sure you got something you really wanted, as opposed to just getting your money and hope you leave as quickly as possible. I’ve visited 3 branches in total and all of them have negative feedback, but I’ve never had anything too bad, after the experience here, if I never read reviews I would have thought Barker sales people were amongst the best. I guess it’s more a fact that it’s down to the random person you happen to get served by. Some people might be rude and some aren’t, if you’re planning on visiting a branch of Barker shoes don’t go by reviews, go in and decide for yourself if you thought the service was good or bad. For me the service was amongst the best I’ve received in any store and what I’d expect from a high end store and I hope it is for you when you visit.”

Barker Shoes Bow Lane
● Closed“Impressed with the staff, both at this location and the Regent St store. Staff seemed knowledgeable about shoe construction and was able to advise on good fit and care, without being in any way overbearing or pushing for a sale. Very professional, especially compared to other shoe stores in the same price range. Helped us feel at ease about what was (for us) a pricey purchase.”
